Cheers for these, always good to see more evidence. It's important to disseminate it.

Dirt cheap, very nice deal!
Are they reliable these guys then? I've only brought from fasttech, never from here.

So I take it, that it came with one of those re-install partition things and that's got corrupted somehow? Didn't it prompt you to make some restore disks at some point?
It annoys me that they don't give people windows disks anymore, it's stupid. If it's under warranty? win 8 machines are still reasonably new I think, I'd complain to the vendor and/or Toshiba and insist they send you out a disk for free. They'll try to say that you must pay for this disk, do not accept that. The software was sold to you when you brought the machine, they have failed to provide you with a reliable method to maintain that software on your machine.
As suggested if you can get a version of win 8, then use your existing serial.

Good luck with it. I think they're a really good business idea, the potential market is still mostly untapped. The only fear is regulation of course, but that's should be some time away and you can still adapt.

That show is far to annoying for me to watch. Though if anyone has taken one for the team and watched it, I'm curious to hear what was said.

Had a quick listen, well done on the e-cig defense! Unusually the presenter seemed a little sympathetic too.

Hi I have some atomisers I'm not using thought I'd offer them up for sale for anyone who's interested and could put them to use. They've had a little use but are in decent nick. 1 RSST - I'd like 10 quid for it sold 2 Fogger v2 - hasn't got the fogger logo think I brought it from Kernow vapes, can't really remember. Also a tenner 3 Magoo (Ithaka Clone) Can't remember where I got this from haven't really used it much. Checked it again and realised airflow control is stuck fully open so removing it from sale sorry15 quid PM me if interested, all includes postage. Cheers

I was a hardcore smoker for 17 years 20-50 a day depending, before vaping I'd been trying to give up for about 10 years. I'd tried everything and made lots of effort. I'd got off the fags for a few months here and there about 8 months was the best with Champix. Vaping was a bit of a revelation to me really, I'm very happy. I gave up smoking with vaping within a month and it's never really bothered me. I was never a happy smoker, I hate it, not smokers of course but the cigarette addiction and how it affected my life. One day I'll probably give up vaping too but I'm in no rush.
I don't see any evidence anecdotal or scientific, of children being influenced to smoke by vaping and I don't think it's a sound argument to promote restriction of vaping. Quite the opposite I think it should be encourage to smokers, along with more research into all aspects of it. However I do share some of Scooby's concerns and think we should be aware of it as a possibility and if it ever did become a problem action should be taken to limit it. Whilst this is only my personal opinion from my own experience I don't want to see young people become nicotine addicts at all. I don't want to see smoking normalised in any way as I have such a negative opinion of it, though I don't think vaping does this really.
It's also important to realise that vaping isn't the solution for everybody, I know a couple of people who didn't take to it. This may have been different if we had smaller devices or it was less unusual. There may always be some who don't take to it. I hope other better stop smoking methods can be found for these people because the current non-vaping offerings are mediocre.

Yeah sounds like a technical fault in the gear rather than anything you did. Obviously a big pain for you, maybe there's a local shop, where you can pick up a spare, like has been suggested.

Yeah I wasn't that impressed with it either. I read it in the Spanish press a week or so back and didn't have to look far to see it debunked, from an article someone posted on here I think.
A few Spanish vapers have left comments under the El Mundo piece, disputing it and linking to a counter article.
@zero All the original El Mundo article says is that he was admitted with a cough and difficulties breathing and that he'd smoked for ten years, nothing more than that, unless I missed something.

I can translate that for you mike if you want to know what it says.
Basically it says, the was pneumonia caused by deposits of vg on the lungs that impaired proper breathing like another case featured in the journal Chest. According to experts (unnamed) the vg obstructs the lungs/breathing areas. According to Carmen Montero cheif of the broncology department at the Hospital of Caruna, there is no doubt "lipid pnuemonia could not come from another source, other than nasal drops or from medications that contain glycerine, but this is not the case here" There's a response from Spanish vapers saying that they've been used for ages though, why aren't there more cases this doesn't seem representative etc.
The director of the Spanish association for thoracic surgeons says, there will be more cases soon if people keep using E-cigs. Then there's a bit about nicotine being bad for the heart I think, I didn't properly read that.
