Hcigar hammer doesnt suffer from the voltage drop issues, the tobeco and others are well known for it but not heard of that particular fix. And Chris only bought his because he couldnt leave mine alone at the york meet last weekend lol p.s mines set up with a genuine kayfun lite plis I'm pleased to learn that (Hcigar) - My mate just confirmed that he's got it (and Snake Oil arriving next week (and Saturday from me)). I was thinking about your p.s. (and I missread plis as pls or please)... and it ties into a thought I had today... I've bought various bits, genuine, replicas and clones... And I think about it... My most treasured are my KFL+ and KF3.1 (both genuine) - Not sure if it's because the design, because they are genuine or because I spent more than on these than anything else... So much want a mech that I treasure so (not that I do the polishing / surface tlc thing - maintenance is all about functionality for me).

I was talking to an old friend last weekend whom I haven't seen for an age... turns out he's been vaping about the same time as me but still using clearos - Introduced him to Snake Oil, Spotted Dick, Kayfun and Expromizer... Someone else mentioned that it would be cool to have an e-pipe and asked if there were such things... I pulled up a picture of a Kayfun on a Hammer on my phone... Conversation ensued and I think I'll be showing my mate how to coil at some point soon.... He then emailed me to say that he nearly spent monies on a Hammer and Kayfun clones (possibly Kayfun for real)... So, having missread the email (gosh - he's even more impulsive than me) I did a little research on the hammer clones (I know them originals are hard to source in the UK) and found that some clones have a bit of a voltage drop due to poor springs... Solution is to wander into your local locksmiths, beg to purchase a couple of brass Squire lock springs, double them up (so lots of metal contact - same principle as fat kanthal = low resistance) and replace the thin SS spring... Thought I'd share that, chris, in case it's useful.... Oh - topically, ten minutes or so ago he posted a pic of a Hammer and Kayfun in front of a keyboard - no idea if it's his or not but feeling a little envious of you both (but I MUST NOT BUY MORE FOR A WHILE or we will be BEYOND QUESTIONS BEING ASKED (the hint is in capitalisation)). Hope you find suitable batteries.

I reckon you're winning. It's the one thing that still catches me occasionally - that first thing in the morning rollie. There must be that perfect early morning with coffee juice out there...

You wouldn't recognise the place now. Holman buildings have gone completely, Tesdo and a housing development there now. Utterly off topic... Yes - so very different. Between ages of 2 and 7 I lived in Fore Lanes and I being so utterly traumatised when the bull dozers and diggers came in and ripped up the farmers field I used to play in (very close to the transmitter). I went back a couple of years ago to see if I could find / recognise the house (the vicarage that was) - I did but... My goodness - Four Lanes is like huge (I kind of remember it as one road with houses along it, an estate on the marshy side and the cross roads (?) by the school.... OK - back to the vaping stuff now.

zeldamum - Damn I miss houses that look like those. I went to college about a mile away from you (Dolcoathe over at Tuckinmill, engineering workshops as part of my Geevor apprenticeship) Enough! So... There's definitely money to be made (I think the profits truly lie with the juice... ) but as others have said, get the mood right and people will come. Here Up North (Berkshire - go on, snigger you English folks who live even further North but understand, where I come from, Camborne is Up North) .... Up here in Berkshire, we've a few Vape Shops and one in particular (two now, but the same folks) feels like it's got the right balance - equally comfortable with people coming in to chat as people coming knowing what they want to buy and all those inbetweenies. And because the staff project that atmosphere, this becomes part of the nature of the customers as well. The second shop even has sofas (still to use it... must pop over... footfall there is less but I can see it being a destination shop rather than a footfall shop and succeeding. I think there's two other opportunities out there (especially in Kerrier, which is not economically comfortable) - guest juices (mentioned already) and mixology (that's either going to be a trade killer or trade maker) - lets assume worst case and the majority of my favourite juices will no longer be economical to be made / sold... I will be actively hunting multiples of ten ml bottles of unflavoured 19.9mg/ml juice, either pure PG or Aqueous VG, with no added extras. And concentrates. (this assumes I can't find the inevitable black market)... As with all of this stuff, though, is hard to compete with on-line sales and grey imports. So.. it's back to the person. It's your passion - go for it - as you know, you can always have a dual use type shop.... Oh - I peaked at your website - " Help! My Skirts Inside Out" - I never thought I'd click on such a link ...

Just out of interest would there be and interest in a clone of the morpheus mod by v.i.p. customs, and also the orochi mod by Raivapes if so let me know your thoughts as i am thinking of stocking these. Peace matt I think the Morpheus Mod doesn't have any air path on the top cap - this will limit the attys that can be used and if customers don't realise that, it may generate dissatisfaction. And in fairness, I struggle to see an advantage with this mod over those you currently stock / have waiting stock. Similarly (I think) with air flow within the top cap of the Orachi but looking at this review : (never heard of this guy) this is a really interesting mod and I like the look of it. Of course, quality of manufacture and materials of the clone will be important (but you know this) My preference would be the Orochi and I could see myself dripping with one of those. The locking mechanism is certainly interesting (not come across something like that before). Not that I dare buy any more vaping hardware (but will be saving for a `real` high end mod ). And that's my thoughts on it. No and then Yes respectively.

I would say that i get asked at least twice a day you makes this and who makes that, i wont go into to much detail but i do not say who makes our products because in order for us to be the cheapest and have the best quality item on the market i do not want that information to fall into the hands of other vendors. I can say however that you would be surprised by certain information and we have spend alot of time! (i cannot stress how much time!) effort and money finding a way to get the best prices and best quality. This is fair enough, Matt. I didn't think about competitive advantage when I asked - more to seek reviews. But some times, without reviews one has to make a judgement call. You now have one less Brass Stingray to sell.

My son is a mental health worker. He also vapes. He's no longer on the wards, but when he was he had to escort patients down to the smoking area for a cig. Vaping on the wards is a no no. Some of his patients were quite dangerous individuals. However, they've yet to ban smoking in gaols due to the volatile nature of the inmates. It's a mad world (no pun intended) I'm sorry to say that I can understand why that would be the case on medium to high risk MH wards. The immediate risk is that just as Smokers carry lighters, we have noxious liquids... The risk of self-harm is real. And that's aside from the hobbyist vaping where we tend to use glass pipettes and syringes (the latter will cause problems for most recovering IV addicts and as many will know, Dual Diagnosis is commonplace)... As an aside, does anyone know if vaping is permissible in prisons?

Ugly question... Are they genuine? I've moved a long way beyond these but recall being very burnt before (nasty FT bait and switch description change)

Just a quick yet way to late for OP shout out for the incredibly low resource Webroot Secure Anywhere product. Go to Amazon etc and look for an out of date disk which has a license key... This is a path you can use with many security products... You can upgrade to corresponding latest version for nowt. Webroot has the lowest resource drain of any professional security product that I've come across (returned an aged friends aged machine to near new performance recently).

Hi Matt, We talked via email recently and I am so very pleased to see you here, both as a vendor and as a passionate vaper. Be welcome. May I ask which manufacturer will be behind the Brass Stingray due in this week? Cheers, Tom

mel I think many of us have been there at times. Best advice I can give is that if you do lapse, be kind to yourself about it... When I'm very low (I've bipolar disorder) I occasionally reach without thinking (especially early in the morning) and, because it's my nature, flagellate myself (not physically, just so not interested in that). So... once again, it's hard to be kind to oneself and easy to be unkind - if you lapse, give yourself permission to be kind to yourself.
