The drip tip is threded and seals against the silicone cap at the top of the tube. The wicks prevent juice flowing down the inner tube, so they generally don't leak

That's pretty much it, unless the juice level is really low, in which case you have to tip it right up or refill.

I've tried a fair few baccy flavoured juices, but nothing that really replicates the Amber Leaf.
Nice ones though are HS Impulse from Vape Escape, some from OK Smokey and some from Paradise Vape.

As above the cartos with the SDK are fab and very long lived. Otherwise SR Boges or Kangers are fine. You can use a s low as 2 ohm, but it will empty the battery quicker, any lower and the SDK won't fire (e.g. with an iMist)

Interesting comments from Ian.
If they KNOW their product is rubbish and doesn't match the claims made, then they are actually relying on people binning them after a bit or being real suckers and continuing to pitch up and pay through the nose for spares.
And that makes it worse IMO.
I remember that program on Radio 4 a few weeks back, a lot of people knew about e-cigs and said they were rubbish - I wonder how many were ex-E-lite customers?

I'm kind of with womble on this one too.
Instead of a flash mob, rerun the experiment of last week, using a fresh punter and getting video.
When he is done, hifi should step up and chalenge his claims, show his video of only getting 100 or so drags from an e-lite etc. Get the whole thing on video and then send it to E-lite, ECITA and possibly trading standards.
Likely to bear more fruit than a flash mob.

Hmm, either they've changed the plastic, or it's just the smoky ones. (it is possible they switched from polycarbonate to polypropylene or somesuch to get around the cracking issues).
None of mine have even thought about softening in hot kettle water.

Thinking some more about this - you could probably just saw the tip in half, or less, and use a much shorter bit of carto tubing.
it would save faffing around with the drill too (though it would be harder to get everything aligned nicely).
Doh!
