I've kept concentrates with no noticable deterioration up to 6 months beyond the use by, so I consider it advice rather than essential. So long as it's unopened I imagine a year beyond the date would be okay. That's just my opinion though scs |

Hi, Nothing wrong with an ICR in a Vamo,(It's got the protection, of course I would not be comfortable using an ICR in a 'mech' but heavy vaping for a week and you get a full day at least with this samsung. I hope you're charging it in a lipo bag, or at least somewhere it can't cause any damage. There's always a good reason something would be so cheap!! |

To say that the information surrounding these batteries is confusing is a slight understatement I think, the battery clearly says on it 35a and 3.7v, but what I am basically being told is that its neither! 3.7V is halfway between the highest and lowest usable voltage limits seen with these batteries - it's the middle ground per se. The same with NiMH batteries - they come off the charger at ~1.55Volts, when the lable says 1.2Volts. Similarly a 12Volt car battery is considered 'fully' charged at 13.8Volts, and flat at 10.8Volts. The confusion re the Current rating comes from a relabler wanting to get more than a 20Amp battery is worth, so lable it as 35Amp and get more dollars, and more sales. Pure greed westyorkylad |

.....will she be ok using her red efests, I don't know which specific efest she has, just that they are 1500mah 18650s. I'd say ditch the efests. Two ratings on the net - 10Amp and 8.8Amp - not enough for 30Watts on a regulated mod. This can be confirmed by an alibaba rating of 15Amps, which may seem strange. But they often quote the pulse rating as the maximum continuous - so take that as 7.5 Amps. One other thing - battery life. These are OLD batteries and although they store well if they're well used they'll be tired. Get a Samsung 25R or two and be safe |

We already know the 35Amp is a rewrapped 20 Amp battery. There was a rumour the 30 Amp battery was a rewrapped Sony, yet it produced masses of heat when tested at 20Amps - so not even safe at 66% of it's printed rating. Best to get the 30Amp Sony VTC4 or the 20Amp Samsung 25R from myepack. What are you using them for @yavape? |
