There are no good reviews that I've seen for any Imren batteries. lygte-info.dk haven't tested them, neither have I. The fact Norbert at Ecoluxshop doesn't sell them speaks volumes for me. For whatever reason they failed to impress. Bloody good in torches tho |

A 0.05Ohm resolution is nothing out of the ordinary. Even kanthal resistance will rise slightly when heated. The mod may say 1.35 for a 1.37Ohm coil. If the coil rises to 1.38 or higher the reading will jump to 1.40.
Important thing: how does it vape?

Really need NR-R-NR wire for rebuilding the standard heads - available from FT but I've yet to find any as low as 0.5 Ohm. I make a head last a month by just rewicking when needed. Use two and make a parallel coil  ? It's possible, but you'd need to wick both coils through the same pair of holes. TBH I'm grateful for 1 month per head  I got some premade nr-r-nr coils from FT from ages ago think they 1.8ohm. Take it the bung is made of rubber and prone to burning? With kanthal if you wrap for 0.5Ohms you can definitely taste rubber. If you stay above say 0.8 you may be okay, but that's untested. |

Pretty balanced information - the main point is problems caused by using the wrong chargers.
I have no objection at all thumb up
Why anyone would object I have no idea - at least they've gotten over the notion that e-cigs are bad for you, and even admit in the report that they help smokers quit!!

The way it's been with the support of their previous OSes I'll give it just 12 months after the release of 10 that they'll stop support and updates for 7. Then shortly after that they'll stop support for 8/8.1

VTCs are miles better than the 35Amp purple efests, which are rewraps of 20Amp cells. Sadly, plenty of eBayers been selling fake batteries, fake Kanger stuff as genuine etc for a long time. A common way of keeping their reputation is an immediate refund for any buyer who complains that something isn't genuine. +1 Totally agreed. Slap a green wrapper on any old cell and call it a VTC for more $$. |

150Watts is the max for 2 VTC5s. The 35Amp purple efests are really 20Amp, so 100Watt max for 2 of those.
Agree with the best option being the VTC4s at the moment, unless you really want the extra capacity and go for the VTC5s. I never advise going above the CDR as we never know how long a pulse is, with some cells it can be as short as 0.7 seconds.

The thing is once GWX.exe is installed it will automatically download Win10. Whether it installs it is another matter. If you don't want it surely you don't want to download it?
In the config.xml it's checking a page on bing that'll be active when 10 is available, and will automatically download it.
It's damn good to get that flag out of the system tray - was using RAM just sat there using my broadband to chat with bing.
Microsoft describe the update as 'optional'. Yet in Windows update it's classed as 'important' and will download automatically.
I personally class this as MalWare. There's no way to disable it through the startup folder or msconfig.
