If it was an update from Microsoft. You could try 'rolling back' the offending update by using 'system restore' which can be found by going to 'Control Panel/Recovery' on that page you will see a button that says 'Open system restore' clicking on this will open system restore and you should find a restore point that matches the date you installed the last update(as windows would have taken a snapshot of your system files before installing it. Just be aware that anything that was added after that date will no longer work and will need to be reinstalled.
If it was an update from someone else. Windows may not have taken a snapshot before you installed it. You would have to try and spot the changes that were made on the install date and manually uninstall them(which i think is what you are doing now, by checking Programs and Features and uninstalling anything that was added on the date the update was installed).
If you need to hide the update once you are sorted, then you should set 'Windows Updated' to 'Check for updates but let you choose whether to download and install' This way you can 'Hide' the update before it is downloaded and windows should then keep it hidden from future 'searches'.

I don't see very much advice to newbies (I'm a re-newbie) on the differences between inhalation techniques and what an incredible difference it can make to the vaping experience. IMHO you also need to match your atomiser and nic levels to your style of inhalation. How do you vape? and on what type of device? Mouth to lung or straight down? High nic or low nic? Curious to see if my experience is common The post made me look at what I do and I think I must be a bit weird. When i use my KF (which is most of the time), I tend to do 5-6 mouth to lung inhales on the same breath, probably because the KF is a bit tight for a direct lung inhale without turning blue in the face. I guess you could say it was A SEMI No scrub that. On a dripper its different, with more airflow its a straight to lung inhale. So I would say I'm a full lung inhaler, but use different styles to make it work for me depending on atty I used. I think it would be hard to advise one way or another. You just have to find what works for you. You could advise a lung hit for more satisfaction, but that person may end up on the floor for the next 5 mins trying to catch their breath

No matter how diligent i am in only adding items to an order that are in stock Every order i place when i revisit it the next or following day is held up due to one or more items not in stock and expected in at some date in the future!! Its a petty frustration i know but iots tainting my vape shopping experience.. I always get the opposite happen. Picked out 4 new atty's to try out and one 1 said ships in 5 days, another said ships in 6 days. next day I went to look at details of a separate order which was a pre-order item and to my surprise the atty's were already on their way. You never can tell with that 'ships in' number.

That is a fair bit cheaper, but too late now. Its probably going to be rubbish and fall to bits or stop working after a few weeks anyway. Ill find out for everyone.

Thought I would take a gamble on this being a nice TC Mod. SMY 60 TCThe previous Simeiyue SMY 60 seemed to get good reviews, apart from an easy battery door fix(looking at this, I can see they have redesigned that.) The TC version is still on pre-order so cant find anything more than what people thought of the non TC Mod. If the TC works well it should be a good Mod.... If it doesn't, then its just going to be a redesigned SMY 60.

I know I said I wouldn't be trying that again for a while, but I figured I needed the practice. Again every time I just got it all lined up, one of the legs would snap from too much messing with it. After much stress I worked out what the problem was. Annealing the wire was causing it to snap if I messed around too much getting it setup. 1st Time I tried it without torching the wire first and it went without a hitch. Changed how I wrapped it slightly, so the legs to the deck were better positioned for wicking and wicked it better to improve airflow more. Now all 6 air holes are clear, and the air is flowing under the coils better. And yes enjay I have gone back to micro coils so it gave more room for airflow.

Sorry Ripshod that I have not been back to look this thread for a week or so. Thats looking like an 'up to date' list to me. I have just had a look myself as I wanted to get a new pair for my Osmium Mod. Thinking of getting the Powerkeeper's as they are going to be used as a pair and 5000mAh and a pair capable of matching the single Sony vtc5 performance is what i need. Not to mention saving nearly £10 on the price of getting another pair of Sony's. Has the list been put into the 'Guides' section yet? or is it not quite ready? It looks 'good to go'.

Thanks.. When i got it i thought it a bit OTT with the Cat's and the 'blunderbust' drip tip on it. Been using it today, now I got the Cat's working well its growing on me. Think I'll be leaving them together.

Personal preference is to squeeze them together, also on an easier to set up atty lol That's on a tobh. Not sure the method you used but I fold a piece of wire in half then wind to coils out the way so all the leads line up in the right area. Up until recently I would have done micro's, but I have found I get better vapor production from a spaced coil. I find the cotton is more able to 'puff up' and draws the liquid in to the center better. Only just started using this Cat's again, but that build is the best that it has ever worked. I found with my KF's, a coil of 4mm or more and spaced helped a lot to cure the odd dry hit i was getting. This atty is like taking a draw though a tea strainer with its 6 air holes. I think part of the reason this build is working so much better, is it gives a little resistance to the air when you take a draw and the air has to go where you have left the gaps for it.
Blocking 2 holes with the wick and forcing the air to be draw under the coils and up towards the neck. First time this has worked like i thought it should in terms of clouds.

phatfil The one from FT, if its the same as mine, is a blooming good copy of the original. Prepare yourself for a lot of adjusting of coils and wick to get the airflow 'just right' around the coils though.

Typical.. Just been on fastech and ordered one of these thought to myself that it would be an interesting build HA!! Looks like you made a good job of it in the end anyway.. kudos.. Think i will run it with just 1 or 2 coils when it arrives At least there will be another here who is going through the 'pain'. I got this atty last year and only quad coiled it twice before using vertical coils. Good clouds when you get it set right, but a bit of a nightmare to get right. Hence it has sat unused for last 6 months. But after I got the 'Steam Punk' clone, the 'Cat's' was just begging to sit on top. So I thought I would try and crack this quad thing by following a video on youtubeI used a couple of 4mm steel bars that I got with my rose atty's to coil them on and left the bar in place while I tackled the other side, but the method was the same as in the vid. Now I waiting for my Sony's to recharge so I can see if I got it right. They are much bigger than what have seen used before, but I like the soaking ability of the the big wicks you can use. I may have to tweak wicks to get the airflow right. We will see in a few hours.
