Thanks Tom I was thinking I may have made a mistake ordering a device that said 'temp protection', assuming it was temp control. You know 'lost in translation' type of thing. Panic over.

Like has been said the 'sub' has many who think its great.(dont have one myself) If you really want to try something else, I have tried a couple of tanks very recently that have impressed me. 1. The Monster kayfun, I know another KF, but this is a slight improvement on the 2 KFL's I have (hcigar + ehpro) for flavor and airflow. My review2. Just been trying the Goliath and it has the best flavor I have had from any tank so far. Review will be up by end of today. I use an ADV so can say 'The flavor is strong in this one'.

Not got a Carvela, but if its like the Nemi, where you screw in the switch until it meets the battery, you could use an O-Ring or washer to give a bit more space between the battery and switch contact. Like so.
I would drop the battery in the Mod and place the O-ring on the bottom of battery, then screw the switch in whilst its still upside down so it doesn't move. Then if it works, permanently fix it to bottom of switch with PVA/Sealent type glue. or if its more like the stingray type you could place an O-ring inside to give a bit more 'travel' whilst still being able to have switch tightened down. This type will need a thinner o-ring as there is much less to play with. Both would give a bit more travel for the switch, but its still going to go off if you stand it up without locking it.

Nice job on that recoil kittyvape. Ill just repeat what decoy was saying in one of his posts. Its all about the airflow when making a coil for a dripper. With drippers where the air enters at the side, position the coil higher(above the level of the air-hole). Air tends to travel the path of least resistance, and will start to move up towards the drip-tip very quickly. Keeping the area under the coil clear of wick will help the air travel under the coil before it it gets pulled up. In the fist build, the air would have come in and just brushed past the side and over the top of the coil while on its way to the drip-tip. Second build looks much better. P.S. Always get a new atty working well on a standard 'kanthal 'n' cotton' build, so you can find how to 'set' it before trying anything else. If its not working on a standard build it wont work any better with different materials etc.

Temp "control" as oppose to temp "protection", how you had it before, it would of kicked in when the tank started to run dry ie nothing to heat. Being new to this concept as well, Whats the difference between temp control and temp protection?

Just received a 7 day shipping from FT I know, I think someone must have taken his go faster pills last week. So I have the Infinate KF4 in gold... Have to say, looks stunning...great detailing on it. Infinate KF4 gold Kayfun Monster v2... Comes with Bellcap and Stumpy kit...This is the one I have got running today. KF Monster V2 Silverplay Styled RTA...Looks decent...Good airflow...All fits together nicely. Silverplay styled RTA Goliath Styled RTA...Looks well made...Glass tank has rounded off edges...Lots of airflow again. Goliath Style RTAGoing to do small review of each as i use them...So far for the Monster and for FT delivery which for once was FAST.

Great concept for swapping Li-Po batteries over, which is the main drawback with Mods that use a built in battery. But that has to be the ugliest battery pack ever. Wouldn't it look much more appealing if it didnt have those ugly end-plates on it.

As said above check shipping date. If an item ordered was not ready for X amount of days, then the whole order would have been delayed. Airmail via Singapore usually takes 3-4 weeks. Airmail via China post has been getting to me 2-3 weeks. Thats not taking into account those Chinese holidays where nothing moves until the firecrackers run out.

Thats ok jess, glad to hear that you have got the majority of use back. That system restore can be a bit hit and miss, depending on how long ago you are wanting to restore. I thought the 10 days or so since install it would still work for you. It helped me last time i used it, after updating from sp1 and comp crashed during the 208 updates, i was left with about half that had failed. So restore was an easy fix that had my comp back to sp1 and the 2nd time i tried update, they all went in no problem.
