Hallo Lindsay, good luck with your e cig. I had the 510s for my second lot of e cigs have now graduated on to the Tornado 510 batteries on the advice of some members here. They last longer and I think give a stronger throat hit. There is a 50% sale on the TECC site at the moment although you will need an adapter for your 510 charger, well worth the money. I only use 4/5 mg of liquid, started on 18/16mg in Jan.

So sorry you had such a bad time. The sale is over soon. I've bought some liquid because I could never afford it at their normal prices but won't buy when they go up again. I've also bought some cartomisers because I am curious about them. I can't normally afford their prices at all, so will return to normal suppliers after next week. It's like me shopping in M & S - only when I can get something cheap in the sale.

Hallo Steve and welcome. Scylla is right just introduce them and don't have a 'give up' day. I introduced mine over a week, smoked my rollies at work because I knew that I could only smoke three during work hours, smoked a couple of rollies at night and in the morning and used the e cig in between. By the end of the week, I was totally off rollies but hadn't planned it that way. You personally will know when it's right. Good luck.

:)Thanks Chrissie, Scylla and Perpetua. Once Chrissie had pointed it out, I realised that I had bought cartridges from TECC before and the mouthpiece on them is a bit thick. I only have a small mouth Thanks Scylla for the advice and I will take it. The cartridges I am using are from January and feel a bit worn now, might order some from OK Smokey because I think his 901s are a little flatter. Thanks Perpetua, that Hilton sounds good, will give it a go.

Help please! 1) Out of the flavoured cartridges, which ones are flat tipped and would fit a 901? 2) Which of the TW liquids have the most tobacco flavour, out of the tobacco flavoured ones. Thinking of ordering a couple of bottles because normally they are too expensive. Thanks

Well I'm looking at the TECC cartomisers and thinking I might try them but can't work out how you fill them up. Could SKS explain to me please? Also do they have a flat tip, can't be doing with round ones at my age, will give me more wrinkles.

I can't use the fridge because of little prying eyes and fingers, so I use an old sweet tin for mine but I have been eyeing up craft boxes, which seem quite promising.

I think it's personal preference and what you can get on with. When I started with PG in January, I ended up with a sore mouth and went on to VG, which gave me an upset stomach!! Soooo, I used Cordysol mouth wash for a couple of weeks and went back to PG. I can notice now if the supplier puts too much VG in the liquid I buy and can't use it. I don't make my own juices.

hallo to you both. I started on e cigs on Jan 13th and still smoked a bit for a week and then totally gave up. It is frustrating at the beginning if you get rubbish equipment but the advice given here will hopefully stop this from happening. Like others I now use a Tornado because of the longer battery life. You need to budget to replace your equipment because each part has a limited life span. Also think about the strength of juice you need. If you have been a heavy smoker then you will need to start off with a stronger juice to refill your cartridges with. I like the juice from Liberty Flights because you can get small 5 ml bottles to try. James also does small bottles. Lisa's juice from Cloud 9 is very nice and I also like Vapor Station but both these only come in 30 ml bottles, so maybe too much to make a mistake with in the beginning. I have never had a question on here go unanswered, people are very supportive, so get some equipment and give it a go.

I know!!, should be ashamed of myself really but if I open the doors of the book cupboard and lock the classroom door, nobody can see me because the doors block the window. LOL. Just hope I never get caught. Have visions of putting my feet up on the desk and teaching whilst puffing on my e cig. Kids always remarking on how my classroom smells of sweeties!! Must be the vaper

Know what you mean about the stigma thingy. Think I have got used to not smoking in public, so tend to use it at home, in the car, at friend's homes if they smoke, same with family, if I'm sitting outside at a pub or cafe and in the book cupboard at work if I'm feeling bold or desparate!!!!!

I just clean them out with kitchen towel and let them drain upside down for a day or two. I do burn as well. Just hold the button down for a couple of secs, blow away the smoke and then do the same again. Perseverance really. Using several atties and changing them regularly seems to help as well.
