Updated design is good, though I will miss the 'other foruns'. I thought that was my little secret, but it's been rumbled.

It's reasonably simple for dual coils/resistors in parallel, especially if the 2 coils are identical. Generally, for resistors R1, R2 in parallel Total Resistance = (R1 x R2) / (R1 + R2) don't pull faces, it's primary level arithmetic! Where R1 = R2, eg most dual coils Total Res = (R1xR1)/(2xR1) Power and current calculations are the same, only you replace the single coil resistance with the total parallel resistance. Sorry, I can't help it.

Mrs W might benefit from trying slightly higher strength nic juice if she's still getting cravings and wants to.
Any reduction in tobacco is a huge achievement though. Well done to both.

What's the best way to join the nr to the coil wire please? Twist? Tie a knot?

Thanks, looks easier than what I'm doing at the moment.
Might be able to crowbar my wallet open for a couple of these.

Let me explain..
I'm toying with the idea of buying a couple of Vision clearo rebuildables, the ones with the replaceable heads.
However, I'm extremely tight and have loads of coil and wick, so I was wondering if it's possible to rewick and recoil the replacement heads myself.
If not, I might look at saving up for a selbstwickler thingy, or carry on recycling my v1 Visions.

There's a more compact version by the way:
Power = (Voltage x Voltage) / Resistance
From the chart, it seems you should normally aim between 4 and 8 watts.

How to fill Visions 1) Unscrew (a couple of turns, anticlockwise looking from above) and remove the mouthpiece part at the top. It looks like a drip tip, look these up if you don't know what a drip tip looks like. 2) Angle the plastic body at about 45 degrees. 3) Insert juice bottle nozzle and try to get juice flowing down the inside of the body. You want to avoid getting juice in the central air hole if possible. If juice goes in there and you get gurgles when vaping, it's just a matter of blowing the excess juice out into a tissue held underneath where the battery connects. 4) You can also use a spikey thing bottle cap for a super easy fill, they cost pennies. 5) Fill until you have juice just below where the wick comes out of the central chamber. Some visions have markings, just don't go above the topmost mark. 6) Reinsert the mouthpiece/tip and tighten it by screwing (clockwise from above) a couple of turns. Don't overtighten it. If you've done it once, you'll find it very easy thereafter.

Whatever quantities you vape, at whatever strength, you're far better off than going back to smoking.
The only rule about consumption I'd suggest is that you vape enough to prevent cravings. If you need to vape more often, or increase strength, or vape twenty litres a day, do it. It's all good.
You might try higher strength as an experiment, if you want to be vaping less frequently.
Too little is just as bad as too much imo.

May have to take myself off for a rummage round John Lewis's gizmo department, so I can see these things in the flesh. Very good idea. Then use web ninjutsu to pay half as much online.

Perps, the main choice for you seems to be screen size then. If you're OK with browsing using a Kindle-sized device, then a 7" screen is fine and you can slip it in a coat pocket as well, otherwise look at 10" screens as a sort of cut down notebook PC. All android tabs can do web surfing in one form or another. And Angry Birds of course.

I'm sure that's quite deliberate, because they want you storing everything in the cloud or on that media bollock sphere thing they do. Also, lack of connections keeps the manufacturing cost down a bit.
Maybe not so great if you want to store a load of media offline as I do.
But the processing grunt will be impressive, though there's only so much you can do with a 7" screen. Useful for external HD screens I imagine.
Didn't know it had USB OTG, that definitely takes it up a notch in value for money if you can get it going.

Yep the Aurora 2 is exactly the same machine apart from the brighter screen and default 16GB flash. The Elf takes a 32GB micro SDHC card so I wasn't too bothered about internal storage, and the screen is fine. An anti-glare screen protector is worth having because the surface is very reflective. £7 at amazon. You'll probably want to get hold of an OTG USB mini adaptor as well, if you want it to host USB devices (like a mini keyboard or USB pen drives). Around a fiver. Make sure it's both mini USB (not micro) and OTG. Also needs a 2A charger either mains or USB. Cracking machine for the money, I may never have to leave my bed again.
