You are all so helpful that I'm going to pick your brains again. As I only have one e-cig (the screwdriver) I thought I should get a back-up and decided to get another manuel one to try - maybe somthing a bit more dainty to take out (not the GG. I would love to have one but its outside my price range at the moment) So, from your vast experience what would you recommend? I would be so pleased if you could tell me which you have had success with. Many thanks, Liz Hi Liz, I only at this time have experience of the 510 which I bought from Cloud 9. If you want small elegant this fits the bill in as much as its as cigarette size as you can get. You can get in different colors, I have3 black and 5 white. It is the most popular e cig I think because of its size plus it has been around a long time so is well tried and tested. I think the Riva is a more updated version but have no knowledge of it. All I can say about the 510 is that to me anyway it is reliable and I have no wish, unlike some here to build a collection or get bigger and better as for me it does the job. Still a relative newbie though so I could change my mind. Hope this helps. Ken.

Chrissie, I'm not sure what TECC are trying to boost but I think they are taking a short-term vew. They ignored my email asking for advice, so I returned the faulty items I'd bought - and received them back by return of post saying they had been tested and there was nothing wrong with them so they were sending them back! I thought maybe it was my fault so I charged the batteries again and they SEEMED to behave normally when charging (red then green light on charger etc) but I can puff until I'm blue in the face and they don't work. Most don't light up at all, a couple flicker feebly then go blank. The atomizers are as bad as my on-the-way-out old ones, I was knackered trying to use them! I have a feeling it's all previously-returned stuff they are unloading. By contrast, all the replacements I ordered from Liberty Flights and the things I've had from OKsmokey have been spot on. I've put it down to sad experience and dumped the lot, but I obviously would never buy anything from TECC again, nor advise anyone else to. Well Inn I am shocked by your post. Rip off springs to mind. > So far I have only bought batteries and atties from Cloud 9 and O K Smokey. I have tested them all and they are fine. The only atty that I have been using constantly for 24 days was bought from Lisa at Cloud 9. I am really sorry that you have had this experience and glad that you have posted the problem on the forum as it may discourage others quite rightly from buying their products. Hope you have a good week end Inn. Ken.

I believe it's specifically designed to reel newbies in cos they think it's a bargain........... As a newbie I think I agree Ken.

Well after my couple of impulse purchases, I think I will be avoiding "bargains" in the future. Hi Hissie, I am always suspicious about bargains and I do think that even now a days you still get what you pay for. Ken.

I've got plenty of black 510s if you're interested...... Have to say that the black batteries and atties that I got from Lisa are pretty good. I bought among other things 3 batteries and 3 attys. I have been using and charging the three batteries for 24 days now and the performance is still good. I am still using the first atty and its still going good. I have not cleaned it or the cart and they are as good as day one. Ken.

One of our original eBay group who doesn't bother to visit us any more (you know who you are, BB ) used French Pipe in a DSE901 Mini all his vaping life, weaning himself down to 0mg - he was a rollie smoker who'd had sterner health warnings than most of us Glad you like the flavours Ken scylla Tried the Golden virginia and French pipe today. The Golden virginia tasted just like a milder version of cuban cigar so loved it. The French pipe one I found to be a bit of a mystery. ??? I filled my cart with juice about 6 hrs ago and its still good and no sign of it drying up. The amount of vapour off it was brill, the best yet really so assume there is quite a bit of vg in it. Very little taste off it though but still liked it. I have to say that I was impressed with the OK Smokey juices and will def order more in the future. James its your turn next and I will be putting an order in tomorrow night. Ken.

Whoops, warning bells starting to ring here I do hope none of the forum members think that my little bit of fun with Perpy was over the top I go with the flow on forums and can be serious or have fun but would not intentionally mean anything by it. :-[ Ken. Ken, I don't think any of us thought any of yours or Perpy's posts where at all OT It was so obvious to see they where meant in fun So please don't worry. Phew Thank goodness for that. Sorry for jumping to conclusions wrongly. :-[ Ken.[/quote]

Very tactful indeed Lilac Hanow, O'man got a tad over familiar with some the female members. I politely asked him if he could tone things down a bit as I'd received some complaints about some of his posts/PM's. He replied saying, why, as everyone on the forum was over 18. He then just removed himself as a member ( Whoops, warning bells starting to ring here I do hope none of the forum members think that my little bit of fun with Perpy was over the top I go with the flow on forums and can be serious or have fun but would not intentionally mean anything by it. :-[ Ken.

Which flavours did you get, Ken? Hi Lilac, Got: coffee,Golden Virginia,Mint,Cuban cigar,French pipe. The coffee is mild but nice, just like roast coffee. The mint is mild also but quite nice and tastes like polo mints. The Cuban cigar is lovely. It has a mild cigar flavor laced with what tastes to me like wild cherry. I will def be getting this one again. Have not tried the French pipe yet or Golden Virginia. Maybe tomorrow. Ken.

I'm very relieved, I felt a tad responsible Now all that remains is that you're happy with your purchases and can relax knowing that you are stocked up! scylla Scylla, I appreciate your advice and concern. I am very pleased with my purchase and am now a very happy little man. Ken.

I still have not received my juices from OK Smokey. Oh dear, that seems rather a long time I wonder if they sent it cheaper than Lisa because it's not tracked or insured ??? I do hope your juices come very soon! scylla No Scylla, the delay in delivery was caused by strikes here and had nothing to do with OK Smokey. I received my order this morning and am well pleased. It was my choice not to insure it as OK Smokey gives you the option. I ordered a similar quantity of stuff from OK Smokey and if I had chose to have it tracked and signed for it would still have cost me 6 pounds less than ordering from Lisa. Ken.

Hi all you lovely people. Just an update and also to show that I'm still alive and kicking. Day 16 for me now and even though I still have not received my juices from OK Smokey I'm still surviving on my one and only peppermint juice which I did not like at the start but have got so used to it now that its growing on me. I have not had a ciggie and have no desire to have one. When I eventually get my juices and of course put my order in with James I think I will be in heaven as I do have a craving for some new flavours. Thanks to you all for the moral support. Lastly for now, my fondest love to Darling Perpy. Ken.
