Scylla, Your post at #12......... "I suddenly became chilled to the marrow, all thru my insides, I had to chatter my teeth and shiver violently to survive... I lay down in bed with 2 duvets and eventually went off to sleep, and several hours later I woke up almost on fire. It wasn't anything like my hot & cold flushes/sweats. Then the next morning it was as if nothing had happened ???"
I've had this, maybe once or twice a year, on and off for thirty-odd years. From keeping a note of when it happens, I've put it down to stress. Not always bad stress, either - I've experienced it when I've returned home after a night out on the town, too, when I'm not stressed, more hyped-up... For me, a glass of sherry cures it.

Thanks for your welcome, Chrissie. I'll be ordering today and will let you all know how I get on. I've been putting it off for too long now.

I don't know if I should add to this thread or start another. My apologies if I'm in the wrong place..... I, too, could use some help with chosing the right ecig for me. I roll my own using golden virginia. Am a fairly heavy smoker, and hoping that the ecig will help me to stop smoking. I was about to order the starter kit recommended by Scylla in post #6, but then got totally confused as to which liquid to choose..... I'd like to be able to gradually reduce the strength of nicotine, so that, hopefully, I can eventually quit. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance.
