Aw, cheers Scylla. I can't often recommend on here, as I only ever used OK for my ecig paraphernalia and juice, and now I don't use my ecig too much at all, so I'm hardly an expert. However, the drum juice is a great flavour and George's service was brilliant. And he bent over backwards to help me out when I messed up one of my orders......

Hello Ken, I can thoroughly recommend OKSmokey's Drum flavour juice. I don't know how it compares to other flavours and other supplier's juices, but it worked well for me. And OKSmokey ships very quickly too. Oh, and congrats. on your 48 hours tobacco-free, too.....

Judy and Kath, No, I didn't have a cough after packing up smoking, either..... My smoker's cough disappeared almost overnight, and nothing since. Although I do get a tickly throat now and again which I never had when smoking .... Go figure.....

Hi Beeper, I smoked roll-ups for 26 years and I got through approx. 120 - 150 grams of Golden Virginia every week. I bought the dse 901 starter kit and haven't had to or wanted to try any other type.
I only tried two flavours of juice, and my favourite was Drum from OKSmokey.
I have to add that I hardly ever use my ecig now, though. I used it as an aid to quitting smoking, and, so far, it seems to have done the job. (Fingers crossed).

Blimey, Lolli, What poetry...... Beautifully put. Scylla, I thought you meant the same and sorry if it came across that I didn't - these non-smoking days I sing in descant whereas previously it was tenor......... Oh, and best of luck with the hand rolling, Lolli.

Thanks Chrissie. Judy, I'm sorry too to hear that you've not found it plain sailing. However, you have managed four days without a cigarette, which is quite something considering..... (Don't think I'd have done that if I'd had problems when I started using the ecig)

I'm not sure I see the point of someone taking it up to try to make themselves more satisfied with vaping ??? Unless they totally ditch ready-mades and then may find that e-cigs are easier and quicker than rollies ??? scylla Ohh, Yes, sorry, I wasn't suggesting doing both (ready-mades and rollies) but to try roll-ups instead of ready-mades.... So sorry - never intended to encourage more smoking

Lolli, Back when I changed over to rollies, (having done the sums, and needing to find an extra £40 per month which is what I was spending on ready-made cigarettes) I'd already tried to quit smoking and was climbing the walls. So, one morning after taking the children to school, I went to the shop and bought a packet of tobacco and a packet of Rizla and came home and rolled my first ever rollie. Believe me, when desperate for a smoke, I darned well made sure I learned real fast..... That first roll-up was bliss and I never went back to ready-mades; although, of course, I remained a smoker for the next 26 years.... > But I've never forgotten how I felt at that time and what heaven it was to smoke a roll-up rather than not smoking anything at all. And it's been exactly the same now when giving up smoking and using the ecig instead.....

Hmmm, I reckon Raggy may well have hit a nail on the head. I, too, was a smoker of roll-ups and have managed to quit smoking with the help of the ecig. I wonder if it's because hand rolling tobacco maybe doesn't have so many additives? (Don't know that it doesn't, just thinking out loud). I do know that once I started rolling my own, I stopped smoking while walking in the street, waiting for a bus, whilst driving, etc., so this in itself cut me down a little. Rolling a ciggie makes it just a tiny bit less easy to light up just anywhere (in the days when you could, that is). Lolli, perhaps that's the way to go - chuck out the ready-mades and buy some baccy and papers and start rolling your own..... Then give the ecig another try in a couple of months' time....... (P.S. I gave up smoking Embassy and took up rolling my own in 1984 so's I could pay for the double glazing..... )
