Just realised this has happened to me.
Been at this for 13 months and noticed last Autumn I was wheezing a bit, which I never did with smoking. Thought it was a flavour I had got from HC (that I had been fine with before) so stopped using it. Also thought high VG was the culprit so went more to PG liquids.
Wheeze still there but then got really bad chest infection just after Xmas. Wheezing really bad now - people commenting from across a room! - and still there up to this weekend, getting worse steadily. Thought for a bit it was a consequence of the infection, but that was long gone and this was increasing......
Why I had not thought of it before, I don't know, but tried anti histamine. Helped. Then crossed my mind, maybe PG, not VG, so was at my son's who had made some all VG liquid except for flavour, so prob 80/20 or so. Felt better.
Stayed on that mix and much better by today. Still there but getting less all the time.
So just to say, if anyone having odd symptoms, be aware intolerance can creep up on you, even after ages using something. Clearly always get checked out by a GP too.
And guess who JUST got a delivery today from Nicvape of PG nicotine? Yes you guessed. Order tonight put in for VG nic (and got a small bottle today to tide me over from UK supplier).
It will do for my friends mixes, so won't go to waste.

Anyone had a stab at replicating something similar?
My fave is the Kentucky Applewood one (think that's right name or close!) and I seem to be getting near with a mix of popcorn, Graham Cracker, Green Apple (all Capella), touch of Ethyl Maltol and a touch of Dulce de Leche.
Work in progress as taste and smell not up to par after weeks of bungupness, but tastes promising.......

All I can add Tay is that if you like the menthol, stick with it till you fancy a change!
Took me a while to find one I could whiffle all day. But you have got some to try now anyways to see if you like them. I hated all the ciggi tasting ones - weird really after many years on the fags - and didn't like fruit ones at the start but do now.
Some of us just take longer than others to find what they like - and we do seem to vary widely.

I must admit, I have used our Vet for many years and they are the cheapest in town. And I agree, like many businesses, some are sharks.
I had to have Dylan PTS on Wednesday last after very regular visits and meds over the last few months and they could not have been kinder - truly supportive. I said to my son who was with me how "non - hardened" they were with us, considering they do this every day.
Got a sympathy card today.
Whilst we were paying the bill (and sobbing) I was worried he was on his own (he had gone by then for about 10 minutes and we had done all the cuddles etc, had been left on our own with him at our request but I couldn't take any more) and they sent the nurse straight back in to stay with him, for my peace of mind.
Made a very hard time a little easier.
