We had to have our Dylan (little Yorkie dog) PTS last Weds evening, 16th Jan.
He was 2 months short of 16. He had been ill for about 5 months, was on 2 lots of heart meds, had become doubly incontinent the last few days which he hated, (he's been weeing on pads for a while), was having seizures several times daily at the end which had increased from 1 every few weeks and stopped eating on the last day, so I knew it was time. That sounds terrible written down but he was not in pain and you keep trying, don't you?
I miss him so much - he was quiet, not yappy at all, but I miss his snuffling, looking for me when I come in - oh. you all know what I mean. It's horrible.
But he had a good life and we have so many happy memories. He was the runt so I got him cheap which is why he was so small, but trained well and the best dog I ever had. To think I resisted him for a while as I wanted a "real" dog......my 3 strapping sons are devastated as we have had him since they were kids.
Bye Little Dyldog, my best pal - see you again some day xxxxxxxx

WEll I don;t know if anyone recalls, but I was a little underwhelmed with the first concentrate I made. Wet dog and sweaty feet.....
Left it with top off for couple of weeks - better, but still not to my taste. Capped it, shoved to one side.
Opened bottle today and it really is quite passable! All trace of soaked animal and stinky socks gone. So 2.5 months to get it to my taste - still, not wasted.....
Will try a mix tomorrow.

I quickly went off just carts and tried various clearomisers or tanks. My current fave is a Kanger T2.
Now off cigs for over a year after nearly 40 years on 20 a day. Thought about them A LOT for the first week, but didn't want one. Tried a puff of one after 3 months, from curiosity, and couldn't stomach it.
I now know that although I have no intention giving up the whiffling, if I ever HAD to, I will never go back to ciggies.
And that's such a great feeling! Never ever thought I would say that.

It's true that smoking in pregnancy, as recent as the 80's was pretty accepted. I had to be transferred to a regional unit at 28 weeks and smoking was allowed in bed on the ante natal ward!
I'd say go for the least level you feel you can manage Booblay, but if you stay on the same as you are now, don't stress too much.
You never know, you may go off it anyway as things start to taste/smell odd....
Many, many congratulations - such an exciting time. I had fertility treatment to conceive my first (polycystic ovaries, severe, not ovulating at all) and then had 4 in 5 years! The first pregnancy regulated hormones and I was away......

Took me 3 - 4 months to find an all day vape.
Tried lots of flavours and whilst I liked some and loathed others, there was none I could turn to and KNOW it would just do the job. Just sit back, whiffle, and forget about it.
I thought I was looking for WOW flavour. And yes, I found some, and they are nice occassionally, for me.
Tried Health Cabin RY4 and found that did the job. I like the flavour (ie. there is nothing I dislike about it) but find it subtle enough not to get sick of it.
So for me the key was to find one that I liked but didn't overwhelm me. Some other flavours I love get just too much after a few hours.
Hope that makes sense!
Also it's true tastes change - hated fruit ones at first, enjoying them now. And I like home made menthol at the mo, where I really hated it at first. Tried it again few weeks back when I had a cold and keep adding it to juices am not keen on just now.
I agree, it takes a while to find a stock of "basics" you can rely on to do what's needed for you.

I get this too sometimes Ripple (yay am 52 too!) and I think it could be combination of steroids and maybe vaping drying the mouth a bit? That's why you suddenly got it after starting vaping maybe?
I found a Fluconazole capsule taken as soon as I feel it starting helps and also using Clorhexadine mouthwash regularly has helped to reduce attacks.
I did get a few mouth blisters when I started vaping too but not now.
It's a bloody nuisance, whatever the cause!
Yogurt and Acidophilus caps did nothing for me, by the way, but they are worth a try, as they seem to help some folks.

Just shows we're all different. I've not had a cig since I started whiffling as haven't felt the need, but have tried a drag twice from sheer curiosity ( the last was months ago now) - and the taste repulsed me.
I think I'm lucky that happened as otherwise, I may be tempted to smoke again. I am around smokers a lot and it doesn't bother me.

I can't belive I've been whiffling for almost a year!
Happy with an Ego or Riva as they suit my hands (which are child size) though I have tried some mods.
Currently really liking the Kanger T2 (tried t3 also but prefer the t2). Can't imagine smoking cigs now - it's months since I tried a puff of one but it tasted so bad....my advice to new starters is to tell yourself it's a new brand as well. That worked for me. First week, I dreamt of cigs and lighters though I didn't crave a ciggie and since then, not thought about them at all.

I think Kickit's advice is brilliant.
And I say let the daughter know - then she can make her decisions based on reality, whatever her decisions are. You will feel better once done, I think.
And not to forget, he is also entitled to home carers, as Mum will be getting after the op, if there are personal care things he may need help with at that time.

I've ordered from there (but not flavourings) a few times and all good.

And to add, the sweet taste DOES worry me - at least ciggies are an "acquired" taste!

I am going to be honest here - please don't shoot me.....
I DO keep all my liquids well away from my Grandson, always have, and only use Ego batteries which I lock if I put them down and try to keep out of his way....
I was visiting a couple of months back - he was just 2 - went to the loo, came back and he was watching CBeebies with my Ego in his mouth pretending to puff away....I am the only person he saw vape ever, every month or so when I visit.
That was a shock. Fortunately, it was locked but still...I had forgotten and left it on coffee table.
Kids will copy anything they see adults do. But I tell you. I was never careful about fags. Would keep lighters and ashtrays out of reach for obvious reasons and drum into the kids they must not touch them, but just wasn't as conscious of it.
I have known friends whose kids ate the butts from an ashtray - ugh.
