This is the STRANGEST THING I've seen.. The resistance of my coil has been steadily increasing throughout the day!!
It's a new Kanger dual - coil 1.5 ohm head, the new style ones.. just replaced it's predecessor who seemed to be a dud as it wouldn't fire and just leaked all over.
Started off a 1.6 ohms which is within the 0.2 tolerance that Kanger quote.
This morning it was reading at 1.7.. I thought nothing of it, maybe it's like 1.65ohms and my mod is trying to decide if it should round up or down..
At lunch today it read at 1.9..
And just now it's reading at 2 ohms!!!
What is going on? I've stopped using it for now as I'm worried about my mod having to continually increase the voltage to fire it at 10w...
Likely solution is replace the head (another dud.. UGH..) but I find this scientifically interesting!!
Any thoughts? :confused:

I Now down to 6mg at work and 3mg at home. same thing i do, run two strengths  tried 18mg to start.. greened out instantly. switched to 12mg at work, and 6mg at home.. now down to 6mg at work, 0mg at home.. gettin there!! |

I started off with a nicolites e-cig.. what a waste of £20 and £7 per pack of 3 cartomisers!!!!
They are rubbish. Get yourself a proper vaping kit. I recommend the Kanger EVOD to start with. Did brilliantly for me before I upgraded to a mod and tanks.
They are harsh on the throat you will need to get used to vaping like when you first started smoking. Give it some time and get something better than an overly expensive old style cartomiser system.
All the advice here is excellent, hope you stick with it and don't end up going back to tobacco!

The new vertical coil works a treat. I weaned myself down to 6mg/0.6% nic before I got the subox. I have already bought 0 nic juice as I've made myself sick twice already including right now lol. Decided from now on I shall sub ohm with 0 nic and use my aerotanks for the 6mg if I need it. But hopefully I am on the way to becoming nicotine-free |
