I found that the way around it for me was to change juices regularly. If I stuck with one juice for more than a couple of hours, I lost the taste. Changing seemed to revitalise everything. Might be worth a try? Andy Ditto. A flush with Listerine helps, too. Must remember not to swally it.

<gulp> I'm not too impressed by the Irish figures, to be honest. Hey, maybe I can fall back on the Scottish ones... or not. Probably not so good. Shit, all those fish suppers and fags. Buggrit.

But yes, now he is older he just needs to control his itch to fight extremes and write some more books or find something new to do. I suspect he's going to find typing a bit on the difficult side, now though. Still, it's another challenge for him.

We need humans like him tbh. In this risk averse society someone who says I'm going to do something awesome even though it's dangerous because it's fun is pretty cool in my eyes. Some people jump out of planes; I ride motorcycles. If you want to take risks to feed your ego, then do ones which don't jeopardise the lives of others. <looking askance at mountain climbers>

I plugged a US 110v development Xbox into 240 UK mains in my first day at a new job once, that was one hell of a bang and puff of smoke. Back when PCs were still expensive I built a machine for a friend who lived a fair bit off. It was constructed of good quality bits that were surplus from my eternal upgrading at the time, so was still a fairly decent machine. I got a plaintive phone call telling me it had fried itself as soon as it was plugged in. Guess what? The numpty boyfriend of the friend had been fiddling with it and slid the voltage selector over to 110V. The winker had the cheek to suggest it was my fault, in some way. I gave up on him after that - guy was an utter loser and waste of oxygen.

Well, they used to be utter cack as everybody knows, but nowadays they're really improved and what you're getting is more or less a proper car, just stripped of the frills and fancies. As far as I know they're mechanically good, but I'd pay careful attention to websites like Honest John's for owners' opinions. I think I'd buy one - I wouldn't have touched the old Dacias with your bargepole, never mind mine.

I think you might find that the whole aspartame issue is unfounded. It's been widely and thoroughly tested and no significant adverse effects found. Lot's of conspiracy theories though. Perhaps you'd like to tell that to the FDA. It's all a matter of fact, the dirty shenanigans that went on during the 80s and Reagan administration and the pressure that was brought to bear on the FDA to give aspartame a clear certificate. Up to you. Perhaps you'd like to tell us how you're so utterly sure that aspartame is safe.

That'd be fine. Just a cautionary word of advice - if you get one of the cheap meters, they're fine for battery checking, etc, but don't do mains testing with one. Many of them are badly protected against mains voltages if anything goes wrong.

Oxo, I'm finding it quite difficult to understand you are trying to say. I think it highly unlikley Big Pharma will get control of this, why have they not taken control of alcohol or caffeine? All smoke and mirrors... Too many powerful vested interests already in place, controlling those for generations. Big Pharma would have a fight on its hands it couldn't win. See, it's all about manipulation and cornering a market - in the great free and unfettered days when such things were just being established, there wasn't such a thing as control. But wait, there was. The King gave you a licence to do such things. You also paid him taxes. Nothing new about any of this - it's all happened before and the only difference is the cut of the suits involved.

Just to add, you haven't ever opened the fridge and accidentally drank any e-juice thinking it was food have you? Why, I did that just last week. Oh, wait a minute; that was Ecstasy juice. Wheeeee...

I ordered off bestecigarettesolution some cheap vivi's and some CE4S........ ordered on 5th Feb and they said 10-15 days, it looks like that it hasnt even been processed yet. Have emailed them and no response Not sure whether I should give it up as a bad job!! Similarly, I ordered an item from bestecigs on the 4th February and nothing's arrived yet. Otoh, items from HK and China I ordered just after the end of Chinese New Year arrived within a week. I suspect bestecigs are one of those sellers who take orders and don't send things until they get a load from their suppliers. Rather unethical, if that's the case. This small purchase I made from them was in the nature of a test purchase - guess they just blew it.
