Over the past few days I've been dabbling with a selection (more of a random assortment) of flavours.
I had no vodka to dilute VG with, but recalled I have an assortment of Irish Whiskey miniatures.
Wow!
I made up a totally ad-hoc mix, of 24mg Rum (pre-made, but wanted 12mg) thinned down with PG, some DK tobacco flavour, Vanilla Cream flavour, Cappuccino flavour.
Added the Nicotine PG mix and thought I needed some of the VG which I'd thinned with whiskey.
The whiskey cream taste is very evident, and other bits and pieces are coming through. It might be even better tomorrow.

Well, I ended up ordering a pair of fairly ordinary 18650s from a local supplier and they arrived this lunchtime. www.thebestshop.eu/shop/vv-mods/35-lavatube-vx-spare-battery.html Quick check with VM and charger and theyr'e good to go; bunged on an ego/510 adapter for the necessary extension and fitted the Ego Vision. My word, what an improvement  I'd noticed the Vision didn't like it when the Ego batteries weren't fresh off the charger and performance dropped off a fair bit - the LT has none of that nonsense; brute force keeps the Vision going, and I'm finding 4.4V is a good setting for it. |

Thanks for the lead to torchy - not just the LT, but I'll have to make up some more powerpacks for the bike and a source of known good 18560s is handy to know about.

I've just noticed that IMR are LiMn, which I literally have 60 of, in Bosch powerpacks which are currently in my diy leccy bike. Unfortunately, I can't free any up for LT use, as they're all needed. Pity that, as they're all nominally 2600mAh.
Ah well, I'll have to fork out for a couple of new ones and that Panny 18650CH looks the biz.

Thanks for the useful info about protected/non-protected. That seller of batteries looks fine, but shipping doubles the cost. I'm currently looking through dealextreme's EU warehouse.

Couple of months ago I doused my armpits with deodorant - only it was flyspray. My fault for leaving them together.
Just glad it wasn't oven cleaner ???

Just taken delivery of a Mk1 Lavatube - nice piece of kit, I can see that doing me for the next year or so. It's now forced me into getting a tank do do it justice. Must get a couple of protected batteries. The same seller also unloaded 19 bottles of mostly unused flavourings, so I'll be experimenting a bit when some PG arrives. |

The price will go way up - not just from profit-taking but from taxation. I don't see it lasting another five years without duty being imposed. Without duty, a pack of fags is what - 2 quid?

I'll try dry burning and rinsing the clearo, and I'll give the flush treatment to the Ego Mega as that worked to a certain extent on the smaller cartos. I just bought another couple of Megas to keep me going.

Damn, I'd been enjoying it for several days and it suddenly started to clog up - likely from the vanilla juice or perhaps I'd put a touch too much VG into it. Same thing happened to the Ego Mega carto.  Buggre |
