Has anyone tried one of these yet? A reviewer says a re-buildable deck comes with it but this is not listed here at all. It is a mech with protections and a recharging port, so no adjustable wattage or voltage. If it's re-buildable I may be interested - by the way, the posh one below is more expensive than the one in the link, and they have the internals upside down in the photo below!

Have not used one myself, but have yet to find a badly made Innokin product, and the price is comparable to elsewhere - looks like you made a good choice, there wisher, and I think the one you got looks better than the plain ones.

Did you ever get this yourgurnard ? I'm a bit tempted but would like to hear from someone who has tried it first!

However, the Innokin Ares fits the best of both camps better, - it's airflow is also 4 holes but you can have all of them or just a couple open, so it is much more adjustable, and the widest setting is just right for me. I've one of those on the way beedee ! Having read what you guys have said about various MTL tanks and the tight draw, I'm hoping this will fit the bill for my style of MTL vaping. Must admit, Perpetua , I was a bit cynical about all these new MTL tanks - they all seem to have a similar bottom feeding wicking I thought they wouldn't drain fully - however, I've been able to vape this until the wicks are dry with no problem. Then, of course, I did the convert thing and got both the Serpent and the Beserker - and neither were as good for me. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! By the way, the top filling mechanism is the simplest and most efficient I've seen, slide the top to one side, fill and close - no unscrewing, no crunchy threads, no tiny little fill holes - simples!

For me, stu1873 , the Beserker, even on the biggest airflow, it is just a touch too tight, and all you get is a 4 airflow hole choice. However, the Innokin Ares fits the best of both camps better, - it's airflow is also 4 holes but you can have all of them or just a couple open, so it is much more adjustable, and the widest setting is just right for me. All down to individual taste, though! I was more referring to the beserker RDA to use with a pico Squeze mod for squonking. It does look to have larger holes than the RTA version. I have an Ares tank on the way so hopefully it fits my style. Aha, I've somehow managed to miss this one - do tell us what it's like, stu1873 (so it can be another to add to my list!)

Commiserations, ghostrider1971, it rubbish when this happens to any gear but it being your favourite mod and just before a trip just adds insult to injury. The shinyitus solution is now to treat yourself to at least two new mods as a consolation prize...

I also did a bit of research on oils in vaping liquid. Apparently the risk is that oil can coat the lungs and lead to something called lipid pneumonia (inflammation of the lungs) - it was first named in 1925, in infants who had inhaled oil droplets (don't ask me how this came about - people using spray baby oil maybe?). Obviously, pneumonia is potentially life threatening, especially in the elderly and young. There is anecdotal evidence that vapers have contracted it by using cheap juice with lots of vegetable oil in it, of course, China was mentioned as the source. Some say that using the odd juice with small amounts of oil in it is fine as the amounts are too small to cause any damage - but, as with everything in vaping, there is no research and not enough cases to draw any conclusions from. Overall though, it's risk I would not be happy with taking, so thanks again for the heads up, Perpetua.

I quite like my Narda RDA, it gives me quite a nice restrictive lung hit. I am currently hovering over the button to buy the Beserker RDA from Vandy Vape as it looks like it can do MTL and a restrictive lung hit as well. The narda was my first "yes this is the one rda". If you like that then please try the odis/o atty rda. Is a better version of the narda For me, stu1873, the Beserker, even on the biggest airflow, it is just a touch too tight, and all you get is a 4 airflow hole choice. However, the Innokin Ares fits the best of both camps better, - it's airflow is also 4 holes but you can have all of them or just a couple open, so it is much more adjustable, and the widest setting is just right for me. MTL/DL

I agree jevans , that, if a tank has an adjustable airflow, you can usually use it for either. However, there are quite a few tanks that lean one way, for instance, I use both the Beserker (quite a tight MTL - most DL people would find this hard work) and the Aromamiser Supreme (you can get an MTL out of it, but it's clearly not made with that in mind - will suit DTL people much more). MTL leaning tanks tend to have smaller holes below the coil, DL much larger, MTL tend to have ordinary 510 drip tips, DL have 810 or wider. I think other charachteristics of DL are bigger build decks for lower OHM builds and (before TPD) higher capacity tanks for all that juice that a dual coil stapled clapton is going to use. I actually lost a bit of interst in buying new tanks at one point because most things seemed to have a drainpipe for a drip tip and too airy an aiflow control, not really aimed at me as a mainly MTL vaper. I think manufacturers have got a bit more balance, now, though I would still like to see them producing more 'all rounders'. In terms of wheather people are into a 0.1 build with massive coils and enormous clouds, or a 1.5ohm cartomiser type arrangement - its just different strokes for different folks and good luck to all of them.

Perpetua - I ended up changing the review - did not feel ok to have something so positive with a health risk attached to it it!

Got my order today ghostrider1971 and immedaitaly mixed up a 10ml tester of DWC (which smells great) and 5 mls of the others - the esprsso has a very off smell, the Karma Cream lick and smell test was very promising!

I hate to rain on your happy parade beedee . . . . but just a word of caution, it's a CCW concentrate that does contain oil. As in all things, it's a personal decision of course. Not at all, Perpetua, appreciate the heads up. but, This is the first time I've bought CCW without consulting this list - ah well, only 1.19 wasted. Should we take this thread down so as not to mislead the unwary?

Just finished a tester of Cupcake World Bucks Fizz - wow, a really unexpected treat. Then found out it has oil in it (see thread below) Shame - because this is a really accurate flavour, a nice orange with a boozy, fizzy kick. Embarrasing because elsewhere, I and lots of others have been suggesting people check the CCW list before using them and I didn't!

Vaping for me is a completely different thing to smoking, yourgurnard, and I am with ghostrider1971 in thinking of it as a hobby. I get lots of mods and tanks and mix juices because I’m curious, never happier than when I’m trying something new, enjoying something I’ve had a hand in making, or finding out about things, and there is so much room for all that in vaping. Also, I feel it’s a bit of a treat to have been around when vaping is developing and changing, it’s not yet totally mass market, so there are lots of interesting people trying out new things, it’s quirky and individual and I like that. Must say that this forum has added to my enjoyment a lot. I cannot be doing with engaging in things where people get judged, labelled, put down or wound up, life is too short for all that, it does not happen here, and that is a big tribute to moderators and members both.

TBH ghostrider1971, I would be binning it at this point (unless it’s under warranty or you’re a dab hand at safely finding and fixing shorts!)
