Flew to Jersey from East Midlands with Flybe in August, took through security my iTaste SVD with a T3 full of juice. Carried it right through in my hand no bother, didn't even go through the scanner. Had read on the flybe website that we weren't allowed to take E-liquid on board as it was classed as a poison (actually names eliquid in the terms on their site) so I packed that in the hold luggage to be safe. Although I've no idea how they would have known I have it, airport security carry out the hand luggage checks, not the airline, and as this was an airline policy, not an airport or national policy, I don't know how they police it.
Flew to Tenerife from Birmingham in October, with Monarch, took in my hand luggage 2 x spinner 1300, 2 x backup eGo 650, 3 30ml bottles of juice, and several clearos. No problems, but was made to put the juice, and my filled clearo in a clear security bag and put it through the scanner this time. Still no problems.
Can also confirm I vaped on both planes, no problems, Flybe in my seat stealth like. Monarch I went into the toilets. No problems with smoke detectors. And I use 100% VG!

There isn't one anywhere near me (Aylesbury) apart from one in Chesham that doesn't seem to sell much at all. I'd love to go to a vaping shop and ogle all the mods and try some liquids and buy a few I like etc. It's a bit dispiriting sometimes having to buy everything online and relying on what people say on the net and never really knowing what to expect from what you've paid for till you get it. There's one in Oxford silentscreamThere's a map of shops here... maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msid=215709227017751563123.0004e116abe884acfc184&msa=0&ll=56.0475

@secretsquirrel Kam and Debbie are lovely ladies. Juice e vaporium is a nice shop. They sell the basic stuff as well as moving into the more advanced stuff. They have a nifty 'juice bar' where you can try out juices.
You can find them at The George Centre, Guildhall Street, Grantham, NG31 6NL
Do go and see them!!!
Make sure you travel the other way some time too and pop in and see me in Alfreton, if only for a chat.

If you live in one of the cities below you've had excellent 4G coverage for a while, as these were the pilot cities. Not sure how good coverage is everywhere else. But if you can get coverage, it is fantastic, lightning fast. Tether up your mobile to your laptop or your tablet, and it feels like your connecting to a fast hard-wired broadband connection. Data is blooming expensive though, or at least it is on EE (The network assumed in my post) a package with 4gb of the fastest 4G data will cost you almost £50 a month (you do get unlimited minutes and texts though) Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield.

Just wanted to say I love the thread idea, but have nothing to contribute right now. Didn't watch the game, and I am working all weekends these days, so getting to very few games myself.

Dam, missed the boat here. Got an xbox here to play all your 'backups' for much cheapness. Don't do xbox, don't like the idea of paying to play online... Are you saying you have one for sale Dusty? If you are I may be interested, I play PS3 online, wouldn't mind another 360 for 'backups' of the games I don't intend to play online EDIT: Although I've just remembered this is against forum rules, so if you want to discuss it further you need to use PM!

Miller, get a 360, with a decent hard drive (to ensure all games play fine) and kinect. Just need to decide if you want to wait for any possible price drop after the new version releases or not, the drop might be, as you predict, quite low. Especially as I think there is still a lot of life left in the old console.
It's definitely worth buying it with a warranty, I'm the same, wouldn't buy it without one.
Flashed means it will play illegally downloaded games I believe. Again, up to you. But it will have no warranty, and runs the risk of getting bricked (screwed up beyond repair deliberately by Microsoft) if you use it online.

Hi Miller
The problem with the 4GB lies with Microsoft's biggest mistake when they designed the xbox, and that's using DVD rather than blu ray. Because the DVD's haven't got enough capacity, many games require an install to the HDD, so you can find that even just playing games, you soon run out of space, and can't play any more games. I would definitely advise getting a bigger HDD
I wouldn't rule the 360 out, for a 6 year old it should give him years of entertainment, there's life in it yet. My only thoughts were that you'd more than likely get a better deal after a month or so. When the PS3 first came out, I bought one for myself, but my 2 kids were too young to appreciate the latest tech. For their Birthdays that same year they got PS2's for their bedrooms, cost less than £100 brand new with warranty (as the PS3 was out) they got years out of them, and loved them. They've since moved onto PS3's.

Miller, what are you buying him a 360 for?
The reason I ask is because if it can wait a month or so you may get a better deal. As the next generation of consoles is coming out in the next month.
The kinect is fantastic, especially for kids, but make sure you have a large enough space in which to play it. We have a fairly large, minimalistic living room (no coffee table etc, suite around the outside) and it wasn't enough space to really enjoy it.
