I remember a while ago one of the guys in an IT team showed me the inside of a PC that had been used by a heavy smoker (in the days you could still smoke at your desk) It was pretty disgusting. There was a layer of brown residue over much of the inside, some of it quite thick.. At the time quite a few PC repairers refused (or charged more) to mend computers owned by smokers because of the state of the interior. dunno why, all it took was a quick squirt of cleaning solution (came in a can) followed by leaving it over some blue roll for half a day to dry out before putting back together and testing.... maybe they didn't like the idea of wearing latex gloves/ maybe I was more willing to do it than others because I smoked but it wasn't exactly annoying, then again 90% of the pc's I fixed were full of far worse things that a bit of office grime from years on the desk of a smoker, one such memorable device had been for a dip in a sewage factory but good old military they don't chuck stuff out if it can possibly be cleaned and put back together (felt sorry for the guys stripping and repairing the truck it had been in)

2 rx200's, 2 kopoor + 200w, 2 evil mini's, 3 istick 30w's and a dovpo forever30, the last 4 are disposable's so don't count and I have currently 32 18650's for vape use and a handful of them for other uses on the atty front I have 7 dailies and 5 occasional's + 3 drippers but on the mixing front I have closer to 100 conc's and thousands of bottles waiting to be used and that's only if I include the stuff the OH has ninja'd already

I know this has probably been asked a million times but what coil does everyone recommend for the subtank mini?? I've been using ready made 0.5ohm twisted coils from F/T and they are pretty good, I now have the means to make my own coils so was going to give it a go, I've been told that I need 26 guage wire, but I'm wondering whether to go for Kanthol or Stainless, I normally vape at 26w, as I'm more into flavour than clouds, Mow,,,, use the coil builder www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp?r=0.9&hfnw=17.5&awg=28&id=2to help you decide what wire (ss316l or A1) which size and what not before you buy or you'll end up with a dozen reels of wire sitting around doing nothing. in my subtank mini rba's I have been using premade Clapton wire in this kit www.gearbest.com/accessories/pp_280020.html in mine, 5 or 6 wraps is normally around 0.5 ohms and vaping between 26 and 30 watts (different mods need different settings...) I also like the subtank mini rba deck for its size but the screws can be a bit of a PITA undo them too far and they pop off the deck don't undo them enough and the wire wont slide under them .......

I wouldn't recommend the TFV4. a) its a big lump, even more so on the D2 b) the stock coils need more than 75w c) the TF-R1 rba isn't particularly good, the layout of the deck means that you end up with long legs on the coils and I don't think it wicks particularly well. The clapton rba, TF-RCA is more like the subtank, much better but an extra. d) they leak, the coil/rba seals are prone to leaks or just falling off as you put it back together and if you thought subtank wicking was a pain the TFV is a real messy swine to strip down and fix e) its not very good with flavour, clouds yes but definitely mehhhh on the flavour front. Thanks for the advice about the D2. I haven't really used it yet so it's all a bit new to me! I'm using 0.5ohm coils in my Subtank Mini. I'm not particularly set on a Smok, it was just something someone suggested but looking at it, it doesn't seem any easier to build on than my Subtank Mini (the top fill hole is nice though). So I'm open to other suggestions for a tank for the D2 but I don't have to use it if there's a better tank for my Cloupor that's easier to build on or will produce better clouds without sacrificing the flavour. the crius www.gearbest.com/rebuildable-atomizers/pp_257256.html?wid=1 is a good tank easy build velo deck with juice flow control holes and a top fill popup slot on the side, just get a fat vape band to hold it closed when in a pocket the crown www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_5?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=uwell+crown&sprefix=uwell%2Caps%2C133 is similar to the subtank the rba heads are about the same its got flavour like the tfv4 but much better airflow than the subtank and the top fill isn't prone to opening itself (screw on/off lid) if you like the subtank then the topfill converters are a good buy www.fasttech.com/products/3023/10014944/3820004 I have all the above mentioned tanks and the two I find easiest to build so far are the subtank rba (5>7 wraps Clapton) and the crius, both are a doddle to shove a coil into and wick, ive just got a crown rba and haven't quite figured out what i'm doing with it yet although no doubt that will come with time and ive relegated the tfv4 to sitting idle on the desk since I cant be faffed with its rba heads any more there just to fiddly and the stock coils are too expensive to be buying replacements until they come down in price (being a picky bugger I only want the half ohm coils and there never in stock below £3 each) each to their own though so far i'm loving the subtank top fill kits and sine they come in 3.5, 4.5, 5 & 9 ml sizes you can really get some fun out of them, also like the cheapness of replacement parts from FT, my only gripe was having bought the kit the 3.5ml tank arrived cracked but the 9ml and 4.5ml are fine (I went for the stainless steel triple pack www.fasttech.com/products/3023/10014944/3535800) still each to their own I don't like painted gear otoh the missus loves coloured glass on her kit

funny though how the problem has only been reported on a Panasonic tv.
I would of expected it to show up on a multitude of products if the claim were true, I don't recall my monitor ever suffering from shadowing in the 5 year period it sat on my desk while I puffed away relentlessly in front of it (in an outbuilding not in the house) indeed it still has a clear picture even though its been repurposed into one of the kids desktops a few years back and its now an 8 year old lcd screen (cheap as chips thing I picked up on a sale out lasted the 2 pc's it was plugged into)
maybe its the poor build quality of Panasonic products that's caused the problem, coupled with their poor customer service position .....
I do recall a sony rep telling me that I shouldn't buy Panasonic screens because they weren't edge sealed and that would cause problems over time, so glad I opted for a less cheap Samsung tele (which is still working perfectly even though its an 09 vintage)
who knows maybe that sony rep did me a gigantic favour by giving me some insider information despite trying ot flog me a vastly overpriced underperforming bravia tv (I had one of the earlier models and the degredation in picture quality over time was huge in the 2 years before I gave it away)

aaront903 found this on a YT about snowwolf problems maybe there's something in that that would fix your problem, other posts talk about needing to resolder various things because the mod was covered in dry joints or bad joints /

dovemanI bought medical syring kits from amazon www.amazon.co.uk/Ciringe-Disposable-Syringe-Mix-10ml/dp/B00X2E0TCU?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00 although the price seems to have doubled since I bought them I keep them in a pot or in a plastic bag and they seem fine after 4 months of use, but you will need to source the needles on your own I'm afraid I ended up getting some plastic tubing to use although I think its too soft and will need a stiffer one next time round if you search around you can find boxes of 100 + surgical grade syringes for under £10, and I might have inadvertently bought a few of those ..... now there clogging up a shelf in the cupboard... still i'm sure they will get used eventually even if its for kids needing medicating lol

Interesting but not knowingly connected. I fancied something different tonight as I am countersigning school reports and wanted a new taste to vape while slogging away. I went to my juice box and spied some Pink Spot 'Surf Rider', coconut and other fruitiness. Without thinking I popped some in my Velocity dripper, and nearly blew a hole in the back of my throat. On closer inspection I noticed that it was mixed at 10mg, and I'm currently on 2mg - no wonder! I am now in a quandary as to what to do with all my older juices which are now all too high nicotine for my delicate vaping muscles now give them away to someone who hasn't progressed so low or alternatively get a low airflow MTL setup and take the higher strength juice for a spin, i'm on between zero and 3mg on the sub ohm units but I still need around 12mg in the mini nautilus which is relegated to my out and about unit before being relegated to back in the box

given its size ease of use and non funky TC operation it really is the perfect out and about round town device when you need more power than a istick 30w can deliver, or you need something small with multiple battery options for a short trip, my second one arrived as was promptly swiped by the missus for her newly swiped subtank mini ...... probably should order more coils for that since she doesn't like home made ones in the RBA....

rattusyou can use the mix calculator to help you doing the measuring sums for any base nic liquid so you get the required pg/vg mix and nic strength just set the flavours to zero and hit the calculate button, I did that the first time I mixed something, might I suggest that if your taste buds aren't working too well due to years of smoking and you don't mind strong menthol flavours that you try bluestar's menthol premix at your preferred strength (70/30 pg/vg) its vary potent stuff and it helps reset the old senses quite fast, a day or two on that stuff and everything seems to taste much nicer afterwards, but if you don't like strong menthol type flavours don't do it (think airwaves but a lot stronger) I use that a lot normally every time my juice starts to taste funny or at least 2 tanks a week (I bought a few litres of it in the pre xmass sales last year) its also good for diluting and using as a daily vape if your suffering synis problems but don't want the harshness of the 70% pg, just get it in a higher pre mix strength and dilute to required level for a more mellow juice

my new delivery ft subtank top-fill clone 9ml beast sat on a kopoor plus with a selection of other kit in the background, I like the simplicity of the top fill converters for refilling although the 9ml unit does seem slightly unwieldy, might need to swap it onto one of the rolo's given how much it likes to try and fall over /

Get Off My Cloud VapingBadlooking at the web page it seems to suggest it has the SD360 chip inside but given that YiHi sx mini was made with a lot of different chips depending on which variant and when it was produced your meaning, so claiming its got the same thing inside as a sx mini isn't exactly saying much, the sb360 chip looks like it is the sx350j v2 with customised firmware, and the sb350 is the sx350j v1 again with custom firmware (if my chingrish translator is working right) which would mean that the claims of it being the same chip were both right and wrong, right in terms of the hardware on the board being the same, but wrong in the sense that the firmware is a major part of how good it is and that isn't the same thing .....

yeah they are great mods, got one around xmass time and one a few weeks back love the fact its barely bigger than the 30w istick but lets me use a few other mods and doesn't weigh the pocket down like a rolo, even with 2 spare batts for a whole days worth of 35 watt vaping
