The ST Nano turned up today with a pack of Ni OCC coils, it sits just flush with the 510 but still not tight. All three of my ST mini bases have a 1.5-2mm gap, they definitely have a slightly longer 510, maybe it will settle over time. Not 100% sure if the Nano is really suited to the constant 40w from the Istick, it does warm up but I'm not chain vaping so no burnt fingers although I do keep covering the airway!. Aww but TC is very nice with my manabush chircahua sun, very satisfying to chase flavour and vapour production between 300 and 400 degF. Oh well at least I had 6 weeks playing with kanthal

I even took my dripper into work today and yup thick cotton wicks work well , very well . I reckon 10 deep long inhales on a dual coil 0.4omh build no dry hits . Not sure it work in a tank hmmm.. But be warned , changing out such thick cotton can result in seriously mangled coils. cut wick on 1 side as close to coil as possible and push gently may work best using fine screwdriver I wicked a pair of claptons in my X4 , they had to be wet and cut close to get them out because I cut one side too short . The wire twists I'm using in the subtank rbas have a combined diameter of 0.9mm and with a couple more turns wouldn't be amiss in a dripper. I don't think they will move as I had to take them out to bend the legs in order to get the coil closer to the deck. If you are wondering I figured vaping off the slower ramp up of the thick wire would be better than the fast ramp of a thinner one.

I went through the sample of Nia 9 so fast I had to swap a bottle of Minty the Toff for my mates bottle. The zingy tart Trixi took time to appreciate but I find it very refeshing after my usual sweet vapes, The remainder of the samples from Vapefest were eked out in a dripper until 13 Sins made them on available on the web-shop. I ordered 30ml of each only to be contacted by a very nice lady from 13 Sins who told me that the labels hadnt been printed...would it be ok to send some samples to see me through until they could complete the order. Of Course!!! So 20ml arrived the next day with a 13 Sins T-shirt (which I promptly lost to my niece). That saw me through until Saturday when my original order turned up, both bottles in black presentation tubes and wrapped in a T-shirt again. I've found them both to be unusual moreish flavours that have subtly changed with atty, wattage and temperature. This time I have enough to be putting them through a subtank at 20-40w. I'm showing restraint by only having one refill of T2 and clearing up some of the other flavours that are building up in the 'vape draw'. Can I describe them? Yes....kind of....... Nia is sweet fruity almost like fruit salad but with a hint of soft spice, Nia is a cool minty citrus with a hint of stoned fruit.

Works well enough in my Subtank RBAs, I've loaded them up with fairly thick twisted coils and so far the wick is keeping up with the coil or is it the other way around?

Must have a duff one then because it feels tight and theres still a 2mm gap, even though I have torque wrench fingers I'm not going to tighten it to the mod. I'ts no major issue a simple fix with a fibre/cork washer.

I recently picked up an I-stick 40TC, as the Ni coils and Subtank nano haven't turned up yet I tried an ST mini on it. The only issue so far is that the 510 connector seems to be quite shallow and I've had to put a spacer between the tank and mod.

New to this forum and fairly new to vaping. I gave up smoking 9 weeks ago after 34 years and haven't looked back. Neither has my credit card, I've taken to vaping like my ex-wife took to buying shoes and handbags. Well if I have to be momentarily serious the rebuildable side of things has appealed to my tinkery nature and keeps my bored non-rolling fingers very busy.
