I contacted LT and got this response: Some ego's the light on the Usb cable will turn green other makes of ego's don't.
Also some egos the light on ego will still lit whilst charging and others don't.
Please contact us after you have tried using it if there is something wrong. I think I'm happy to keep using it as long as it's not significantly more likely to blow up or something

The charger is 4.2V 420ma. It was on for about 7 hours before the blue battery light went off. That's a long time for an Ego battery to charge scoops . . . . have you had the charger long? I never found that they lasted indefinitely with the fair amount of use I gave them. This is my only charger, from fasttech. A piece of equipment like that, for what it costs it's always worth having spares. I've had the charger about 5 months, and this is my 3rd ego battery of this size - the other 2 have both taken about 6 - 7 hours to fully charge from flat. I had a smaller one that took 2 - 3 hours.

The charger seems correct rating. The eGo brand that we used to sell the battery light would flash blue and then turn off after a very short while, once charging has started. Sounds like there may be an issue with either the battery or charger. Do you have another charger to see if the problem is with the battery? Maybe try contacting LT? [ETA] I take it that the charger LED is green without a battery connected scoops ? (It should be) Yes the charger light is green without a battery. I've had 3 other ego batteries and I think the blue light has always stayed on until the battery is charged. But the charger light has always turned green when other batteries were fully charged. This is my only charger, from fasttech. I don't mind using the battery like this, but I guess if the fault could cause other issues, then that's a problem. Guess I'll try contacting LT tomorrow, thanks..

Hey guys, i just got a new ego 1100 battery from l&t, and for some reason the light on my screw-on charger stays red when it's charged. The other ego batteries I've had, when they're charged, the blue light on the battery goes off (I think) and the charger light turns green - with this one the blue battery light goes off but the charger light stays red. Reckon there's something up with it? It seems to work fine otherwise. Thanks..

I thought it was illegal to vape on buses - shocking to hear the driver of all people was doing it! Pretty cool though

New one arrived today - looks great Only trouble now is, I just dropped my smaller ego battery on the pavement - only realised when it was missing, and had to retrace my steps to find it! Reckon it's still ok to use?! The metal at the bottom is a bit nicked, but it still works. Cheers.. Difficult to tell without seeing it but if we all threw out our batteries/mods every time we dropped them we would have none left Thanks, that was my thinking. I'll keep using it until it breaks or blows up

Wow, guess you can't mess about with these batteries! Karma , the battery you mentioned says ego 1100 - would that work the same as my ego-t, and work with the same charger? My battery came with a 4.2V charger. And would the code you gave work with all the ego batteries on the site or just that one? Thanks a lot

Hey guys, I've got 2 ego-t batteries, a large and a small, and I picked up the large one while still attached to the clearo, and saw it had come apart. I've no idea how, but the metal part with the switch had come loose from the main black part, and was only held together by the connecting wires.
i managed to slot the metal switch part back in, and it still seems to work fine - but I'm wondering if it's still safe to use and to charge. What do you experts reckon? Thanks..

Don't want to hijack the thread, but I have a related issue. I started a few months ago with an eGo-T setup, using 18mg (as documented on here ). I felt a bit dizzy, so I tried going down to 12mg and that helped to end the dizziness, but I found it difficult to get enough of a hit, and it would become very hot as I had to draw on it harder and longer. Am wondering if more advanced equipment is needed to successfully reduce nicotine level. I figure for now I'm best sticking with 18mg and trying not to vape too much. p.s. welcome gabbyevs
