Thought it was pretty cool seeing the go north east 4 driver having a good vape on an aromamizer blowing some clouds not giving a ****, seen a couple cloud chasing drivers lately. Was tempted to ask what build he had but just awkwardly vaped in silence damn it! Vaper bus driver are you on here?

I thought it was illegal to vape on buses - shocking to hear the driver of all people was doing it! Pretty cool though

Good for him I say. Better than the driver standing next to the bus stop with a fag in his mouth.

vaping is banned on our Arriva buses. I know they do all of Wales too so its a fair chunk of the country, their 'do not smoke' posters have a very clear 'included electronic cigarettes' same with Merseytravel. I'm due to go on a private party aboard the Mersey ferry soon, hope you can vape! *edit* Oh well, stealth it is!

I got a Megabus to vapefest about 3-4 years ago - and the driver was a cig-a-like vaper. Saw my set-up - and wanted to know where i got it how much it cost to buy and run - and recommended vendors. He couldn't make vapefest as he was working - but was vaping on the bus - same year as the Megabus got pulled over for an ecig being mistaken for a 'bomb' - so some of the drivers knew the difference even then

I think it's ok that vaping is banned in public transport - not everybody likes to be in the centre of a vanilla or menthol cloud - same as in restaurants - pubs are a different subject though

I thought it was illegal to vape on buses - shocking to hear the driver of all people was doing it! Pretty cool though Banned but not illegal. We can vape in any area covered by the smoking ban (No tobacco, no combustion), but lots of places don't allow it. In the vast majority of those places it'd be pretty silly to vape anyway, we could do without any extra ill feeling towards us. I vape on the platforms as I wait for my trains to and from work each day. A lot of the time I'm on my own at my small stop in the middle of nowhere (it's outside anyway) and I've been commuting for so long the staff turn a blind eye at Plymouth station as I'm not a dick about it and stop when other people turn up for the train. Believe the posters at GWR stations and you'd think it was illegal to vape in them.

I used buses for a week a couple of months ago. Never mind vaping, which I did frequently, I'd have cheerfully set most of my fellow passengers alight.
