Hi mannyer, Long time since I dealt with anything FET and not wanting to again really. Out of interest, is the principle of the MOD boards (devices) to act as voltage doublers with the Mosfet handling pulsed power to the atty's? PWM stuff. Was looking for circuits to browse but did not see much so assume with 555's and displays it went a long the power pulse principle. Add in duty cycle. I am drawn to this because i have an iStick 30W that I think is a clone. It throws "atomizer short" (error) when I use USB pass thru. No problems when on internal battery only. Something ain't measuring right I think? Potentially. I found that if the battery is too low on some of my devises the pass through won't work. In this set up (which is boardless) the idea of the two batteries in parallel just ups the mah. The get doesn't do anything to the vape really just protects the switch. What was it that mad you not wanting to go back? Fets appeared in the early days of VHF/FM radios which held my interest. Tuners used the new field effect transistors. That was about lowering signal/noise ratio. Then I built the early capacitor discharge systems for car ignitions..end of points problems. No FETs for that, just power PNP to fry eggs on. Currently cars are into inductive systems with the ECU's. I legged it to computing before that, so lost early skills to some extent. Eye sight is not so good for this work. Although, I will commit this istick to surgery if forced. This istick error occurred with a Kanger Mini yesterday and I'm trying to replicate it on a kanger Nano. Coils are ok (I think?) although a new set of Kanger V OCC's seem very bad at wicking? Took at least 12 hours to settle down and soak up adequately. Got the odd dry/over cooked hit on the Mini.

blur alert..specsavers still not working (for me)
From your piece on import prices I remembered why the family (factory) I worked with 2 years back in Schenzen suddenly had a brother living in HK. I began exporting special parts to HK (fwd shenzen) from the US and which stopped anyone gaining materials/manufacturing specifications to copy. That border must have got busy dead quick?
Someone did do a bit of chipset copying though...successful for a good while. Amazing stuff!

I lost count of the times I have loaded a new MB and freaking windows fails to configure the LAN/WAN chipset, usually Realtek. I never learn per 5 years-ish. And always asks to download stuff as its configuring itself? Your'e in safe hands...yeah right!
And on Win8/10 updates its loaded the wrong LAN driver for my Lenovo laptop. And attempts to install the wrong MS Office updates at times.
Hate to say it...Ubuntu Linux never does that...slam/bam straight in and connected in minutes!

I was looking for a decent price on batteries and nitecore intellicharger i2 and came across a company called odicforce. £8.99 for the charger plus £3.50 postage. The only drawback is its a two pin plug. Based in Surbiton, it seems to be a seller of lasers. Not sure I'm allowed to post a link. And I dont work for them! Not sure about the batteries, I was looking for Samsungs but will go to Boldvape for them. If you do buy one can you please let us know if your'e able to successfully verify its authenticity on the Nitecore website. charger.nitecore.com/validationI bought a D4 last week and the CAPTCHA code (2nd input box on page) keeps failing. Have emailed them at their info@ address, but nothing so far. Iv'e hammered this D4 with different battery charges and so far has not had an early death. It appears to be original...but?

So lately I've been ordering a lot of juice from rejuiced I really like most of them but the fruity loopy milk seem to have a menthol taste to it. I've had a few cereal vapes before and never got a menthol type, has anyone else tried this juice?. Have you tried it in different attys as menthol has a habit of lingering in empty attys for a long while. That's one of the reasons I bought a good ultrasonic cleaner. syd, please could u recommend a good USonic cleaner. Not used them before. Cheers

Case today:
Barclaycard Auto call (Fraud) yesterday pm to my landline. Absolutely appalling auto caller with a male brit voice ordering me to press button 1 and used my name (partly). I didn't respond fast enough and it dropped the line. I was slung between a scam or authentic. I thought the former and checked my online BC account..no activity on it other than mine.
Messaged BC immediately via my account which was joke in itself. Got 2 messages back form India this am giving me a UK Fraud Dept Num (I think UK?). I don't like this stuff going overseas. Who else? Talk Talk, Virgin, BT and....?
Anyway, it was Merchant Fraud to get me(?) a holiday via a travel agent based in Toronto...£359 which is not in my pattern spend, hence the auto alert.
5 years ago I had some concert tickets booked in Barcelona....NOT!
Candidate spenders I've yet to meet:
Amazon EuroCarparts Hairdresser (local) Morrisons Tesco Stores Debenhams Technomate UK (Sat Receivers) Next No EU/USA/China stuff

The closest most of us can get to whats going on, particularly in the EU parliament, is via UKIP. Roger Helmer has a good blog that shows vids of proceedings that the BBC etc would never show. Am not pushing UKIP here although I don't see much in all others. rogerhelmermep.wordpress.com/Think Farage is a vaper now? He did visit a small vape business in Wales a short while back, around the debate with the Welsh First minister debate. The EU accounts have not been signed off for about 18 years which says enough in itself. Wish I had never gone for the EEC, but doubt it would have stopped there.

Have look through HERE may be of help. Tks for the link. That was spelling mistake(s?) and 3p plug difference I think. All that is good on this thing, although its one of the skinny China 3p plugs. It looks and feels quality...but again? I'll email them about their CAPTCHA code awkwardnes. Separate email now sent...non CAPTCHA

Just got a D4 in UK (£20 1st rec delivered) for about same price as FT ($35 delivered whenever). eBay UK you know? Authenticity code is a 16 digit bunching on the box. The page below has a security code (CAPTCHA text) box. I entered the displayed image text into the Nitecore page (a few times) and it fails followed by auto text/image refresh. Trouble is it keeps failing? Was going to email them but they've got the same over cooked CAPTCHA box on their contact page as well. charger.nitecore.com/validationAny clues please? Have given this charger a right caning and going good...but? Don't do the D size batts though..pity that.
