And all these "flavoured" juices - I wanted a "ciggy" not a fruit salad! Hopefully it will all arrive tomorrow before we set off about lunch time, and I'll get to try it out in the "non-smoking" accommodation! Love to all. Kath LOL "fruit salad" Know exactly what you mean tho' I'm not too fond of the fruit flavours but love the tobacco ones AND if I want choclate I want to eat it, not vape it Good job we've all got different tastes! Have a lovely break away from it all

i like any flavour as long as it is not too sickly sweet ......... some of the toffee and maple ones are just too much for me but the freshness of apple and the spearmint (which aint minty as such) more like the old sweetys (pacers or softmints) James

Omegaman pops to the fridge for a can of something refreshing, and a wee bottle of jimmybat's hand mixed 36mg Strong Cinnamon e-juice.
Ah .. that's better .. now where did I put that can! lol

Kath, in some ways, it was so much easier when I bought my first e-cig almost 2 years ago. Only a couple of models to choose from & only prefilled cartridges of tobacco flavour available

Out of curiosity, those who are expert vaporers (sic?) do you have more than one e-cig?

I think most of us (but not all) have ended up with more than one e-cig I started off nearly 2 years ago with a super mini (RN4081). Long lasting atomiser but short battery life & it doesn't produce the best amount of vapour or throat hit. Next I bought a DSE901 kit - more vapour & still my favourite atomiser. Then I bought a Screwdriver mod. It was one of (if not) the first large battery holder mods. Much better battery life but was never really happy with the button placement. Next a GG Grant mod - still love this & it's my take everywhere e-cig : Then a Garry Dibly passthrough love this as well. Finally & lastly the GGTS : Lol, I know that sounds like a lot but I don't regret buying any of them

After 6 months of vaping, my stash consists of an SD2 for the 901 atomiser usage, a Tornado set, for out and about, and a Mako Midi. Whichever model you end up with, it's all dependant on how good the atomiser is. having said that, a good atomiser used between the above E-cigs, the Mako performs the best.
If i was to recommend just the one, it would always be the Tornado/ego/ Riva (they're all the same really). for ease of use and consistent high performance.

Scylla, I'm just hoping Kath received her be-cig & juice before she went away. Agrees we are all very tame, friendly lions

Me again - sooorrrry - but I haven't understood the use of glycol/glycerine. I think it was Omegaman who wrote somewhere that he/she(?) uses half vg and half....erm - something else. For what, and why both?

Okey Dokey Hanow Most juices you buy are mainly PG (Propylene glycol) others have a higher percentage of VG (vegetable Glycerine). VG gives you a lot more vapour & you can buy VG very cheaply (for about £1.20 from Boots for 100mll) to cut (reduce the strength of) an e-liquid's nicotine content - bit it will also reduce the flavour. To give you an example, say for instance you find that 18mg juice suits you best, you can usually buy the much higher 36mg nicotine strength & save money by cutting it with glycerine. Lol, getting tired so pleas shout if that doesn't make sense

No problem at all there Chrissie, well explained. Thank you. All makes sense now. Sounds as if everyone has their own 'drug' lab in the back room! Mixing, cutting, syringes etc. I'm off now for a soaky bath and bed. Thanks for all your help and advice today. Sleep tight all.
