Dr Vapour's review - I seen that one lol. I think Tim said the combo(s) used in that review were a bit wrong - apparently the Doctor never read the user guide Whichever Mako you buy, you get exactly what you need - spacers / O rings. I've used it at both 3.7 and 2x3v, and really, it's easy to swap back and forth. takes all of 5 seconds. I rarely use the 2x3v little batteries for HV though, as an LR atty on the Mako at 3.7 using a 14500 is, well I think, tremendous. I've just put an LR atty on the Mako, used Raspberry coconut ice from Enjuice for the 1st time, vaping nirvana it is I will definitely be buying the Don sleeve for the Mako, as I want to try the 18650 battery, which the Mako does not have. But for now, this 14500 I'm using is still lasting most of the day, so more than happy with it.

Completely agree Lilac, a lockable switch is essential IMHO. Don't mind having a non lockable one on my Garry Dibbly passthrough as that's not a problem cos it won't trigger unless it's plugged into a power supply. I can so understand the pricing on the GGTS making it out of reach for folks, but it really is an amazing piece of engineering & that's something that I appreciate so much. I think I've been drawn to the GG range due to my love of design & especially things that remind me of the Aesthetic Movement & Art Nouveau Lol, sorry if that sounds daft but although I know functionality is the main issue, how a mod looks is a very personal preference

I agree, the 14500 is a very good battery, the 18650 even better, but it don't half add a lot of weight to a mod.

I think choosing a mod is a hard choice, as there's so many good ones, and also a personal thing, how you like it looks wise. For me, the GGTS was a consideration before i seen the Mako. It's got an undoubted pedigree, and I'm sure I'd enjoy using it. The only thing that put me off it was it looks a bit blingy for my taste. The Mako is more me I think. And its a cracking vape

Couldn't agree more Bucko, with the good mods it comes down to what look/button position suites you. Plus of course buying from a good supplier & Tim truly is a good one.

Lilac - you should have used your Global Powers to MODIFY Jaki's post with the warning, I do tend to read the posts in date/time order you know Seriously, could you justify spending that amount? No names mentioned, Kath, but a certain prominent, long-standing, maxima magistra here has spent a lot more than that on a single 'vaporiser' Then again, some of us have spent an utter fortune on loads of less expensive e-cigs none of which are quite good enough I do, all purchased in my quest for the perfect, big-hit, reliable, long-lasting e-cig. I gave up trying before the Riva and its equivalents existed, am just making do with SD MkI now. YAYYYYYYY EDIT - I think I musta mista page Take no notice scylla x

WARNING FOR SCYLLA - do not look! Heehee, I peeked I'd seen it already and didn't fall in love, so it was fairly easy not to go to the review. Thanks for trying, Jaki! scylla
