Hi guys, how are you all doing? Just wanted to update you on how i am doing. I managed to get a hold of 18mg menthol ice e juice from enjuice, and I love it. Fills in the thing I thought was missing, which was the taste of something. The only thing is sometimes I get a really good throat hit and sometimes not even a hint of one. Have not figured that out yet?

The next thing I plan to do is clean and refill my empty cartridges that came with the starter kit with the e juice. I have just been direct dripping at the moment and seem to manage to get it all over my hands when I do that. I am hoping it will be more convenient than direct dripping all the time.

Also, I have still not smoked a proper cig yet!! Woo hoo!! My house smells nice now, and I can dry my washing in the house without it getting smoked to death. Oh and I smell pretty too

that reminds me...im on my last bottle of menthol, so need to get more, a big bottle from Lisa this time...

on the throat hit, sometimes i don't get much, altho i've found if i take a good long pull, then hold the vapour in my mouth for a second or 2, then inhale quickly, it seems to work better...

remember to shout if you'd like me to send you a sample of the black filler to try, that goes for any of you, btw...

Thank you Lilac, my boyfriend is so impressed, he gave up smoking 5 years ago and hated smelling of smoke because of me. He tried my tornado once and was very impressed, Managed to blow smoke rings too, grr I can not for the life of me do them, lol.

Lilac what is the black filler? I am also going to order more menthol as I really like it. I am going to order the strong strenght next as I think I would prefer a stronger menthol taste and I only ordered the normal last time.

It goes in the cart, in place of the white filler stuff they come with, works much better most people change it for some variation of the fluval stuff

Ginger - your last couple of posts are a shot in the arm It's so great to see that you've found the benefits outweigh the mini-probs and that you're enjoying your vaping. Funny though, I make much more mess over myself when refilling the stuffing than when direct dripping - I always use a squeezy bottle, if the juice comes in glass with pipette I decant it into squeezy.

Scylla I do love my Tornado, but then again I have nothing to compare it to, lol. I have noticed that it is easier to draw on it when the cone is not on it, strange, no idea why this would make it different?

I have cleaned, dried and refilled an empty cart the way igetcha's youtube videos say, thought I did it right but it seems a bit harder to draw on it??

Lilac who is Andy on youtube, would you be able to give me his youtube name, I am watching as many vaping videos as I can just now. x

Thank you Keef and Chrissie. I am sitting watching all of his youtube videos just now.

Ok, one problem was wondering if you could help me with. I am having a little trouble with my vapour/throat hit. When I draw on the tornado and dont inhale there is a load of vapour produced. When I do inhale I have not been getting any throat hit for about a day now and the vapour I exhale is hardly anything. I dont hold the vapour in my lungs for long at all. I have tried both mouth inhaling and direct inhaling but no difference. Its kind of like smoking fresh air. I think I need to feel a good throat hit so get the satisfaction from the tornado.

I have a drained atomiser, fresh refilled cart, fresh battery and I have tried direct dripping onto the atomiser.

Not going to reach for the real cigs, but just hoping you guys might have an idea of where I am going wrong. x

Edited to add, would going up to a slightly higher nic content give a stronger throat hit?

A higher nic level would most probably give you more throat hit.

However, to me it sounds more like your atomiser isn't working properly. You mention that you drained it , but have you tried blowing through it from the battery end (with the cart off & a piece of tissue to catch the juice) ? Also have you tried a different atomiser?

If you were getting good throat hit from it using the same liquid as you are now then its not the liquid .

I think as Chrissie says you may have Flooded the atomiser.

Does this thing have a button if it does then remove the cart and press it - look inside the atomiser and see what it does.

If it glows red all is OK if its all dark in there then the atomiser is not heating up properly.
