Chrissie, i have tried everything you suggested but still no go. Keef, the atomiser does not glow when I press the button without the cart in it. Booger, does that mean I have busted the atomiser? The other one I have does not glow either. Broke them both. Boo! Is there any way to fix it or does it mean ordering more atomisers? Not even had it a week and I have broke it lol, Technology does not like me :-[ Edited to add, found this on google www.ecigexpress.com/blog/how-to-clean-a-flooded-atomizer/Do you think it is a good idea. Hoping to get it working again, as I really dont want to go out and buy cigs.

OK if neither of your atties are heating up, then the problem may lie with your battery instead. So next question (sorry, it's a process of elimination), have you tried those atties on another battery?
I really wouldn't bother with trying any cleaning method, apart from a last resort.

Oh forgot to add, how do you know if you have burned the atomiser out as I am worried I may have done that if it has not flooded.

Chrissy, there is no glow ring thig, but they are still hissing and getting the outer casing warm. I have two batterys and from what I can tell they were both fine, before this problem, when I started noticing less vapour etc, I would change the battery and all would be fine again, so I dont think it is that.
Do all atomisers glow?

Just my tuppence worth - if the atties are hissing and crackling they are still active. They should only glow when dry (not a good thing). Make sure your batteries are fresh and add just one or maybe two drops of liquid directly to the atomizer wick itself. If you get vapour then the atties are working and it's possible that the wool in the cartridge is not making contact with the wick. I had this problem with the 901 RN type cartridges when used with the DSE901 atomizers. Fox

Ok, so I think I found the way to test the atomiser. I drained both the atomisers, put a fresh battery on it, direct dripped 2 drops onto the atomiser. Put a clean cartridge in it without the wool stuff. And it still produced hardly any vapour. Seriously, I can hardly see it come out my mouth on the exhale. Did all the same with the second atomiser and nothing, exactly the same results. Do you guys think it is the atomisers then?

This really is a tricky one Ginger, because it could just as easily be the batteries or even the battery charger not charging the batteries properly. sorry, I know that's not much help

Foxy's got a Tornado (did I say that already?), let's hope she pops in. She would know about the cone/no-cone issue. I've been thru that lack of vapour exhaled business, most frustrating. I agree it's an atty problem. Keep going Ginge scylla

Foxy has popped in Scylla Ginger, I've just had another thought. Try cleaning the threads on the battery & those on the battery end of the atomiser. Just use either a tissue or a piece of kitchen roll. You may have got some juice on the threads from dripping & that would result in a weak electrical connection.

Scylla, what did you do to resolve the no vapour on the exhale? Did you manage to figure it out?
Chrissy, just cleaned all the threads and connections and still no luck.
I miss my Tornado!! :-[
Do you think this is covered in the 28 day totaly wicked policy, or should I just buy new atomisers? But don't know to tell them I need the atomisers replaced, or the batteries, or both.

Hi Ginger, I just asked on the TW forum and the Tornado atomiser does not glow when it is functioning properly - sorry I sent you on a wild goose chase :-[ Told you I knew nuffink about Tornado`s So it looks like your atomisers could be functioning properly. One thing you do keep saying that does puzzle me is ........there is no vapour on exhail . If you inhail deeply it has been my experience that you dont get much vapour on exhail. The longer you hold it in the less comes out. You exhail clouds of the stuff is if you dont inhail.

Hi Keef, thank you so much for finding that out for me.
I dont even hold the vapour in for 2 seconds and still nothing. One of mine started glowing so I direct dripped on it, and not really anything. When I draw on the tornado and dont inhale I do get vapour, but when I inhale it I am not getting the satisfaction I was getting a couple of days ago with exhale and throat hit. I think I am going to get to get a couple of new attys and mybe a slightly higher strength juice. See if that works.
Also if I direct drip a couple of drops, how many vapes do you think roughly it would take before I need to direct drip again. Dont want to burn out an atty.

I think you may be running them too dry. If these things are anything like the Titan they will drink a lot of liquid.
The reply I got on the other forum was you could get them to glow red but only if they are dry and you press the button for a long time. It is definately not normal for Tornados to glow after 2-3 seconds.
Afraid I dont drip but with a cart I top up little and often.
2-3 drops Vape 5-7 draws then top up again.
This gives maximum vapour.
Another thing I find if I draw the vapour in along the side of my cheek, hold , inhail and then exhail via my nose I get a lot more flavour .

Hi Ginger Oh you do sound as though you are having problems! I have never tried a Tornado I sometimes get this in the afternoons when I am vaping a lot when driving. I have no idea why and change atties/batteries and everything but to no avail. I usually end up dumping it on the seat and giving up. > I reckon it is because I've been using it too much and there is a change in my lung capacity, but have no scientific evidence to back this theory up! Have you tried taking a longer, slower draw? Does that make any difference? I think I use mine too much like a regular cig and puff it rather too quickly. I hope you manage to resolve this

I wanted to use carts filled with whatever e juice I liked at the time as it seemed more convenient to me. But with the problems today and yesterday, I have been dripping to try and test out all the parts. I have just got a fresh battery, and a newly drained atty, and a cart that I filled myself. Going to vape on it for a while and see what happens. Maybe I have just become immune to 18mg and there is nothing wrong with my tornado, just need to go to a bit stronger e juice. Who knows, my head is all mixed up now. I want it back
