I'm going to tell you to order from this guy, Simon @ e-cigs.co.uk, and while you're waiting for me to get a link to the various items you can peruse this page because he has a lot of useful info/explanations on it: www.e-cigs.co.uk/scylla ... back again soon

BTW - Thing is ----- the names (screwdriver etc etc) & numbers (DS blah blah blah etc) don't mean anything to the brand newbies!!! Just want a nice kind person who does know what they're on about to advise on a "probable" good option & where to buy at a good price. Been a heavy smoker a long time & sooo enjoy it! Realistic ciggie taste very important :-)

Change of plan because Simon's stocks are not good at the mo Just to get you started, order this kit and an extra USB charger for your PC (it's very convenient): www.oksmokey.com/store/product.php?id=149I suggest you select LIQUID GOLD 11mg juice from the drop-down. However, have a think first - maybe you could choose 18mg and dilute it a bit with Vegetable Glycerine (VG) from the chemist or supermarket (very cheap indeed). The cartridges that come with the kit don't have any juice in them, so just to be on the safe side I suggest you add a pack of 10 Virginia carts in LOW/11mg: www.oksmokey.com/store/product.php?id=22Here's the USB charger: www.oksmokey.com/store/product.php?id=128This will cost about £50.50 (plus glycerine if you buy it, about £1). You will have sufficient to "take stock" and know what you're dealing with. This model is compatible with a lot of "mods" on the market. I hope you understand that it's difficult recommending someone to spend money on dodgy Chinese electronics, but I am sure that, if you keep an open mind and don't pressurise yourself to stop smoking in an instant, you will get there! I and others have found that George at OK Smokey is very conscientious about looking after customers if they have any problems. He's quick and there are no hidden costs. What do you think so far - this kit is "titanium", = stainless steel, it's all the go these days scylla

Ragjoy ordered from Simon on my advice but he didn't like the tobacco juice. Where you have to be the most broadminded to start with is with flavour. The juices have a sweetish undertaste because they are based on Propylene Glycol or Vegetable Glycerine - both sweet. The Liquid Gold is not a flavour that is easy to DISLIKE INTENSELY, but it's not that tobacco-y. I'm pleased you dropped in Raggy, is there anything you'd like to say to Magic, your newbie experience is more valuable than anyone else's, I'd say scylla

Before I go tobacco taste would be preferable. Kept coming across the one called dse901 & titan. Are they very different to your suggestion?

Maybe choose the B&H flavour from the drop-down. I chose the Virginia carts cos they're a bit tobacco-y and they come in a small pack, otherwise it's 50s The model I've showed you is the DSE901 "Mini". It's the one we generally recommend for newbies, I started out on it and it's what Raggy has just started with and (I think) he's off the dreaded weed already

Sorry Scylla don't want you up all night. Have looked at those last links. Think I want automatic puffing not manual button. Don't stress - I'm learning.

As long as you don't go off and order before we've finished sorting out our thoughts. Don't worry about me being up, I'll be up for hours yet He's got spare auto batteries, I'm sure, I'll go and get one but just want you to know I'm here. scylla

I love the dse901, can't go far wrong there, plus I'm a fan of OKSmokey's tobacco flavoured carts although they may perhaps be a little too flavoursome for someone who's been used to, say, Silk Cut. Juice is certainly a matter of trial and error. My next experiment will likely be Old Holborn double as I like the rich taste of OH. Good luck with your choices magic. Fox
