THANKS, FOXY I just got the double flavour Old Holborn and wish I hadn't, it's a bit dog-endy, I'm going to try the standard next time. The only packs of 10 carts are in virginia or mint, otherwise I'da chosen Tobacco cos I knew someone had said they liked them. I don't think Virginia will do any harm, just to get someone started who's not used to filling carts with juice. I expect Magic has to get to bed, she's got work tomorrow. scylla

Ok won't order straight away then. Annoyed with myself - everyone else sorts themselves out & my head's spinning with all the options!! Current chain smoking must be affecting the grey cells - not normally so s l o w ! Would make you a hot chocolate - then you might sleep? :-)
Night night - got to be up at 6.30am :-(

Don't worry, I'm a night owl.
I reckon it should be straightforward now for you to get started -
DSE901 Mini Starter kit = 2 batteries, 2 atties, charger, dry carts
Extra battery
Extra charger
Small bottle of juice included in starter kit
Pack of 10 filled carts to get started without having to refill carts.
Is that it?

Lol @ 'dog-endy' I like that one!! Perhaps I should stick to the regular OH then. When I bought my first DSE901 from OKS I ordered the plain 'tobacco' carts (25) and they threw in a few 'Virginia' for good measure - they were quite pleasant. Magic: I was just as confused as you when I first started looking into e-cigs. As you say, there are so many different types to choose from. Everything I've purchased to date was as a result of watching igetch69's reviews on You Tube. Fox

I started with DSE901 (automatic battery) ... and 7 mths on still using dse901 but much preferring the manual battery nowadays ... haven't had one puff of smoke since even though I was on average of 40 a day for the past 20+ years ... my partner has tried all sorts and has finally settled on a DSE905 MKII which he's very happy with ... personally I don't really like that screwdriver shape. I also like tobacco flavour and enjoyed State Express e-juice which I think was from Totally Wicked. Good luck with the transition Magic ... stick with it and you won't regret it.

When I started Oct 08 there weren't nearly so many different models to choose from - it's a result of the success of e-cigs, thousands and thousands of us have given up tobacco with them when we couldn't do it any other way. I'm glad you've bought from OKS, Foxy, you can vouch for his service and you know some of his products. Yay Jools Another late-nighter here for support, it's great!!! scylla

A belated welcome to you Magic As the others have said, it really can be so confusing to begin with. I also recommend the mini DSE901 to begin with. The starter kits can be bought relatively cheaply & it's so easy to find spares as so many sellers stock them. Lol, I know we are giving you loads of links to read but here is another one - a thread on this forum with pics (& links to other video's) showing you the main different models & how to use them. allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=4

I received my 901 passthrough plus two packs of 25 'tobacco' carts (cheaper than buying one pack of 50 lol) from OKS this morning - brilliant!! The passthrough works with my dodgy old lappy so will work for anyone!! Only ordered yesterday morning so am a very happy vaper! Fox

Thanks very much for that Prof; I like the sound of the Old Holborn. I like strong, smokey and aromatic and probably should have been a pipe smoker! Fox

Hi Magic. I started with the dse901 a few months ago and have no wish to change it. I also smoked silkcut 5mg for years --30 to 40 a day.
I bought the starter kit, plus an extra charger .. I love the liquid gold-medium strength and sometimes top up with high strength cherry or apple flavour. I don't like the apple pie-too much cinimom.
I also have high strength tobacco flavour, in fact I'll top up with anything thats at hand. Good luck. Marj.

Phew! Long day but I've ordered my goodies :-) :-) :-) Exited but scared it won't hit the spot for me - luv my silk cuts! THANK YOU to EVERYONE who replied :-) Got the 901. Wondered is the Titan same as the Zenith ??? (could't find that info anywhere) Have ordered "the international" sample pack of 7 different e juice (x5ml) 1.8% from e-cigs.co.uk. Has anyone used these flavours? If so which would you try first ??? Does PG give a better result than VG ??? Also I looked at the e juice strength comparison chart on this site but it didn't have anything about 1.8% ???
