Thanks Foxy for the tip - I've made my order with OkSmokey and will let you all know how I get on..... It'll be a miracle if I do manage to give up the cigs. after so many years of smoking though.

nana 1st thing you need to do is ......... chill out and don't put pressure on yourself . Be cool I smoked and vaped when I first started and it was a breeze. If you really need a cig have it , some people really need a cig first thing in the morning so have one, why make yourself miserable. I loved a cig at lunch time and I absolutely loooved the one I had when I got home from work - took my dog for a walk and sat relaxing in the garden with a mug of coffee and had one or two But as far as I was concerned 2-3-4 a day is a heck of a lot better than the 40 + I used to smoke. Count the ones you didnt smoke and you will always be winning

Nana, I still can't believe that I no longer want to smoke tobacco. I find vaping a much more pleasurable experience with no horrible morning (and evening) cough. I can arrive home from a visit to a non-smoking house and open my front door to the pleasant scent of whatever air freshener I used before I left instead of the acrid 'old pub' smell that used to greet me. I've smoked for well over forty years and (thought I) enjoyed it and had no particular wish to stop. It was the friend who bought me my 'super-mini' who made me really stop and think what a pariah I was becoming - not a pleasant thought at all. I really have no wish to return to tobacco smoking and am pretty sure now, that providing I'm able to obtain supplies easily, I never will. Be careful where you obtain your supplies of ejuice as some are vastly overpriced per 10ml so do your research carefully. I've noticed that some people charge the same for no-nic juice as for that containing nicotine - it's not rocket science to make your own no-nic for 'pennies' if you wish. Good luck - I do hope you have the same positive experience as me. Fox

To all of you - thanks so much for your advice and encouragement. Keef - I will heed your words and chill a little. Yes, you're right - it's not the end of the world if I can't quit altogether and immediately.....
Foxy - thanks too for your words which are very true of myself. I will carefully check the prices of the no-nic cartridges too as I hope to be able to use them eventually.
Now I just need my order to arrive and I'll go from there. I'll report back here on progress - even if it's slow, or backwards steps now and again....

Thank you Chrissie. My kit has arrived this morning and the battery is on charge. It should be ready to use around 8.30 tonight.... Just as well, as I'll be on my own tonight so won't feel a fool while trying it out for the first time.... I will own up to changing from a Titanium to the cadmium red though - one feels that the colour is more in keeping with one being a lady.......

Nan, so pleased to hear it has arrived Lol @ "one feels that the colour is more in keeping with one being a lady....... " BTW, the instructions for charging the batteries for 8 hours don't make any sense. As soon as the light on the charger turns green, the battery is fully charged & the charger stops charging. Added to that, the batteries come with some factory charge, so if you wanted to, you could try one of them out straight away Just a note - several people have been caught out by the fact that the cartridge (mouthpiece) that comes attached to the atomiser, is a dud ie no filling in it. So you need to unwrap & attach one of the cartridges that will most probably be in a seperate little box.

Quick update. Having read Chrissie's post re. charging for 8 hours, I thought I'd give it a go as soon as the light went green. Aroundabout the same time, I remembered that I'd ordered a passthrough.......... So, at the time of typing this, it's almost 24 hours since I smoked tobacco. The ecig is quite mild compared to a tobacco smoke, but it's (so far) substituted well and kept me off the weed. Early days yet, I know, but fingers crossed........

Oh well done Nana When you say it's quite mild, what strength cartridge/juice are you using? Just remembered something else I should have mentioned. To begin with they can taste vile. That's due to the atomisers coming with a factory primer on them, but it doesn't take too long for that to burn off & once that happens the e-cig tastes a lot better

For anyone who has a 901 I would recommend getting a PCC (portable charging case). I love the 901 because the atomizer doesn't kill the flavour of the juices and provides excellent vapour. The only slight niggle with the PCC is that because of the extra length of the mouthpiece, you need to remove it from the atomizer when storing in the case, otherwise it's a perfect piece of kit. I put the battery back into the case after each 'vaping' session and I always have a fully charged battery. The charged case lasts ages before needing a recharge. See review HEREThere are also PCCs available for the 501 and 401 also reviewed by igetcha69. Don't forget to use the discount codes where available. Fox PS: My PCC arrived fully charged by LF which was nice!
