Oops! Don't know what happened there, so I'll continue.....
I looked at a few of Scott's excellent reviews. The Provari is out for me. Have visions of rummaging for my specs to read the digital display and that's enough to drive me to drink as well as smoke. I was impressed by a review of a (can't remember the name) Sports E-cig that comes in a little battery charging case. Thinking of buying one of them as well as the Twist.
I have a few lingering reservations about vaping. I'm concerned about swapping one addiction for another. I realise that the liquid doesn't contain as many harmful ingredients as cigaretted but I'm sure that when cigarettes were first introduced they didn't have added chemicals. What's to prevent these liquid sellers adding harmful, addictive chemicals if not now, then somewhere down the road? For that reason, I'm very reluctant to buy anything made or sourced in China or Eastern Europe, no matter how reputable the company. I came across a website that listed a number of liquid sellers whose ingredients were sourced in the EU or USA. Do any of you have similar reservations and, if so, have you found a reliable vendor of e-liquids?

I came across a website that listed a number of liquid sellers whose ingredients were sourced in the EU or USA. Do any of you have similar reservations and, if so, have you found a reliable vendor of e-liquids? I had the same reservations and even panicked a little to begin with but you have some choices here. Firstly yes, you can buy US juices and I can highly recommend the Vermillion range (can be bought from Vendor www.liberty-flights.co.uk), the other thing is that there are some reputable Chinese manufacturers that have probably more stringent procedures than any EU or US eliquid producers, the two names to look out for are Hangsen and Dekang. About the contents of the bottles, you could if you wanted mix your own, sourcing VG and PG at pharma grade would put your mind at rest and then you could add your own flavours and Nicotine so you know what you are mixing up. The only thing I ever worried about was what was in the bottles, I have found that paying a bit more for your juices pays dividends, not only can you tell that they have been put together really well but the flavours are much better than the cheap and cheerful ones I have bought and tasted. Have a word with vendor pixijuice ( www.pixiejuice.co.uk/) or Jason @ Vapeescape, Jason does a range called Grizwalds, both vendors would easily put your mind at rest as to what goes into their juices. Having done my research (which I did a tonne of) I am happy that what I am vaping contains nothing that will harm me on any scale close to what the old ciggies were and as more people invest in clinical trials my research appears to be coming true.

Well thought out response to addicts reservations Tim.
Like he says... Hangsen and Dekang are respected throughout the vaping community.
Many products can be viewed as dodgy, from China. Batteries being the biggest culprit as copycats. But Genuine Joyetech are the exception. Many UK vendors sell Joyetech, Hangsen and Dekang.

Great vid
I used to work in 2 well known poultry factories that provide food to all leading supermarkets, as well as other large and well known stores, and neither was as clean as that place

Judging by the video posted by FirinBlanks, everything looks very clean and clinical but cleanliness isn't really what bothers me. I'm more concerned about the actual ingredients and whether any of them, other than nicotine, are harmful or addictive. I'm inclined to think that suspect ingredients would be noticed and regulated quicker in the US or EU. Perhaps I'm being over-cautious.
Anyway, I'm going to buy the E-cig early next week. I'll have a chat with the vendors and buy the best liquid they have to keep me going for a while. That will do for starters. Fingers crossed it will lead to an end to cigarettes for me.
Thanks a million for all your patience and kindness.
