I recorded Jools to/last/night and was very pleased to discover Bellowhead - they played this number, better I think than the November recording here. Also, the personnel is slightly different - last night they had a very pretty boy with floppy hair animatedly violinning scylla

To be honest I was surprised that Jools gave it house-room - and it does go on so I shall de-embed it in a day or two and add a warning as to what it is. scylla

My late Mum and Dad used to play this when i was little and I remember singing along to it making the words up as i went pretending i was Japanese lol Jules I remember that song, it was very popular around here in the 1960s. I used to hear it a lot on the radio.

Layla !!! Great song, Milady. I need to take some time and listen to the great music that has been posted on this thread.
I'm more into New Age and Celtic music these days, but I love listening to the oldies, too.

I've just watched that "catophony" clip of Somewhere over the Rainbow" and "Dambusters Theme" posted earlier ...but it did remind me of the Dambusters film theme - here's a great clip:

Nothing like an electic mix of musik Stan! Great Dambusters clip . . . sad to hear Gerry Rafferty this week, is now no longer with us.
