I would like a very small electric frying pan. I have a craving for a proper fried egg (and bacon) now and then. I can do the bacon on the George Foreman grill. Otherwise, I only have a mini fan oven, microwave oven and slow cooker. I know I could poach an egg but that's not the same - I want it fried!! (Stamps feet!!). Now, where are the sleuths who can track one down for me?? But remember SMALL & ELECTRIC please!! Cheers MM

Beeps, I don't think I've seen Redwood sausages being sold anywhere. I usually buy either Tesco's own frozen, meat free Lincolnshire sausages or Linda McCartney ones. Lol Jerry, of course I'll still speak to you MM, I'll see what I can find .....

MM I have on a couple of occasions when camping fried and egg on the george foreman. I have a Remoska which rarely gets used now it's not small but is electric and that would fry an egg, also good for other things haha. I would batch cook when it was just me but now there are 5 of us so I don't do that anymore. I will try out the veggie chilli as we seem to eat a lot of mince would be good to cut down a bit.
Tonight we are having roast duck potatoes and veg...

I love the idea that this "http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220696484847#vi-content" comes with self control. Worth buying just because I could use some!!

I would like a very small electric frying pan. They're usually huge I've got a one-pan induction hob purchased from Bid.tv @ £23 inc £9 P&P (Got it when I was going to have kitchen done, a terrible tragedy but that's another story.) Left this post and went to look around at least 4 hours ago... Anyway, they're awful dear these days and the auction channels have given up practically giving away kitchen gadgets. Not that you might have space for a mini-hob, but you could prop it up against a wall whilst not in use and it would come in handy for so many things provided you get inductionable pans Another 2 hours later and lord knows what's gone on here while I've been futilely kettling because my kettle lid is stuck and it won't fill thru the spout scylla

Had to laugh out loud at your post Scyll!! Can just imagine rummaging around for a couple of hours!! Just like me, start one thing end up doing loads of others. And the 'water down the spout' thing. However, I haven't got room for anything on my work surfaces at the moment!! LOL at Lynda #23 - 'comes with self control'!!! I have actually bought something similar , but it is much bigger than I thought it would be!! So will give it to grandaughter for her birthday. My GForeman is a bit grot at the moment, needs a good clean!! Will do so or chuck away before I move!! Don't think I would like a fried egg from there anyway - it would have ridges in it - if it didn't slide off the end!! Modify - I clicked send before I finished!! I have looked around on eBay etc but no joy. So folk keep looking please, you may perform a miracle and find me one!! Fank you all. MM

Scylla, can you put one of those electric pans in the dishwasher, or do they have to be washed by hand ???
