I don't think I will be putting away the cash saved, with 2 kids no matter how much cash I have it seems to vanish but life will certainly be easier. Especially if we both manage to stop with vaping. Hubby is using my spare battery until his kit arrives so that's £12 not spent on cigs today already. Excellent! Well done. Graham

Cornflakes & Combo, I used to be a very heavy smoker - averaged about 50 ready ciggies a day At today's prices that would be at least £16.00 a day & about £112 a week (how the heck did I afford to do it ? ) I now spend about £10.00 a week on vaping. Cornflakes, my gut feeling is that for some reason or other, you aren't getting the best out of your Riva There are so many members not that far from you & even Vape Escape's shop isn't too far away - about 37 miles. So if there is any chance you could meet up with someone, go for it

I'm not sure if it's a case of me getting more used to it. I mixed some juices to try get what I'm looking for a mixture of black jack and peanut butter seems to be hitting the spot at the moment lol. Not sure it would taste nice mixed foodwise but vapour wise it is hitting the spot. I am finding now I am used to vaping a bit more I'm able to drag more without that gagging. If there is anyone that wouldn't mind a coffee with a newbie though I'll buy in exchange for tips

A bad start to the day for me. I didn't take my E Cig with me this morning and had to unexpectedly go to my Aunts house after the school run. Cue 10 cigs been bought because I knew I would need them (she is a smoker). I've smoked 9 of them eeek! Back home now stroking my e cig!

Cornflakes don't worry, we've all done it. I now carry a SD Keyring in the car just for emergencies. At least you're back with your e-cig now

I smoked a truckload the other night when I went to the pub and forgot my ecig. (thought it was in my pocket, it was in the toilet lol) So, it does and will happen on occasion. Don't beat yourself up about it. I really do wish the flavour was better too. Either it's our setup/tastebuds or people exaggerate how much flavour they actually get. I'm not sure.

No exaggeration here Ewol, but the truth is, if people are still having 1 or 2 cigs occasionally or especially daily, taste buds will still be muted.
Also there are lots of other variables, if all people have is a SR clearomiser on a battery that isn't variable voltage, that doesn't compare flavour wise to a dripping atty, a quality variable voltage battery, a Penelope or a Genisis atty......and that's without even getting into quality juices.....

Yes it's a good way of testing flavours, or for getting the best from flavours. They take a bit of getting used to how to use them, another option would be a LR carto, I still love the flavour in those

You couldn't use the LR carto on a Riva battery could you?

You couldn't use the LR carto on a Riva battery could you? I have used Low Resistance (LR) cartos on Riva's before with no problems, but there IS a risk. Low Resistance means the carto will draw more power and there is a danger of this melting the power wire to the center pin. It MAY fail. Also if you use a LR Carto it will draw more power draining your battery quicker if it lasted 6 hours between charges with a SR carto, it will last 3 - 4 hours with a LR carto. The advantage is the coil runs hotter vaporising more juice and producing more vapour. However SOME juices when vaped hotter lose their flavour. For what it costs and in my opinion the small risk you may FUBAR a battery it is worth it; BUT you first need to ask yourself, am I prepared to have to buy a new battery? Do I want to risk it for more vapour? Weigh these up and decide for yourself.

Well almost a week in and the only cig I can't kick is that 1st one on a morning. I can live with never dropping that one if it comes to that but with time I am sure that will vanish.
The problem I am having now is towards the middle of the day the clearo doesn't seem to be powerful enough. So I am looking at trying a different system. I don't like the cartos, I like been able to see what juice I have left. Any recommendations?
