((((( Moonie ))))) Couldn't you get the bottles anyway, just to look at. Well, they are awfully cheap, and they'd look quite pretty sat on the windowsill if the sun shone through them. Maybe I should buy a few, just in case.

I would Moonie . . . not having seen your windowsill, but I'd imagine they'd set it off to perfection.

You could also use a microwave baby bottle steriliser to prep your glass bottles immediately before use (works for plastic bottles too). Only uses water and microwave no chemicals involved.
They sell from a tenner upwards.

Hi I am new to vaping, but i was wondering, wouldn't nicotine kill any bacteria present?

Welcome to you Ghislain . . . very possibly, but us vapers like to go the extra mile I think in being sure we're preserving our precious nicotine base as best possible.
I just gave my glass decanting bottles a swish round with some hot water, nothing elaborate, just to get rid of any factory manufacturing dust that might be lurking.

For long storage, which is best then, PG, or VG. Does one have better storage propertys than the other?

I'm not sure Dave, but favour buying PG as it's so cheap and easy to buy VG from Boots to dilute it!

Either or really Dave . . . I buy VG base now and dilute with VG as I'm PG sensitive, so I try and keep that element as low as I can.
