Thank you Fruits for that, I'll check what settings it's on.

I downloaded FF4 yesterday and to my horror my fingerprint reader won't work with it. Apparently neither FF4 nor IE9 will be supporting these readers for anyone other than business users. Also my AVG safe search feature won't work. I've 'rolled back' to my previous version of FF and will stay with that for as long as possible.
It's so much easier just to run my finger over the reader rather than have to type login details - foils keyloggers too.

Inexplicable and inexcusable for them to leave that out I've installed FF4 today, am waiting to discover some advantages They've separated the Refresh icon from the Back/Fwd, like IE did ages ago, the devils scylla

I'm saying NO to FF4 update for now ;0 Hopefully Mozilla won't take too long to sort out the glitches.

I didn't like the FF4 tabs being placed so high either - one of my 'gadgets' covered the bar and I liked it at the top-centre. So picky I am!

So far so good-ish It's dispensed with the File/Edit/etc menus along the top, giving more space like Chrome and Opera. A couple of existing add-ons are not compatible though. scylla
