I knew without looking it was infected horrible so more antibiotics and check up again next week. Poor pupster! She's being good taking her tablets though!

I wish it was me instead of her karma at least I'd understand what was going on.

Ooh poor wee thing. If she's got an infection it must have been irritating her. It's not a case of dressings being applied too tight is it. I know of a cat who had a dressing on the leg for an injured paw, not only did it cause "pressure sores" on a completely unrelated part of the ankle, but it was so tight it was cutting off circulation. If the owner hadn't had some medical training (nurse) & realised the dressings were too tight puddy could have ended up losing a leg. Luckily the cats fine now, but the injury took longer to heal then it should have. It's so frustrating when they can't tell us if somethings wrong, or should I say wronger. Hugs for Mitsy & all fingers & paws crossed she's back on the mend soon.

Sometimes a couple of courses of antibiotics are required. Hope this lot do the trick.

Poor Mitsy, she must feel so poorly and as with a child they need lots of love and cuddles. I am afraid if it had been one of my dogs that crept into my bed whilst they were poorly, I could not have moved them they feel so alone when they are ill and need constant reassurance of someone being there for them physically. Pixi , I am in no way being critical of the care you are giving Mitsy it comes across your love for her is great, it is just my reaction to a helpless animal in need of the touch of their owners when they are ill.

Don't worry Pauline. Ever since we fist got her she's crept into our bed in the middle of the night and never gets removed as she's so stealthy we don't know she's there till we wake up! But I wasn't letting her start the night in our bed as that would have been a rod for my back once she was better. She's deffinately not showing she's ill! Still her self but a little more sleepy on an evening.

Ever since we fist got her she's crept into our bed in the middle of the night and never gets removed as she's so stealthy we don't know she's there till we wake up Bless . . . don't know she's there until you try turn over & realise your pinned by the duvet & spend a couple of sleepy seconds wondering whats going on . . . . know that feeling well Just a thought but not all my cats get on all the time, & we've had a couple of accesses from someone biting/scratching someone else & a few other minor injuries, including stitch's from a carelessly broken bottle. Now I always have a bottle of Hibiscrub in the house to bathe any injuries as soon as they get spotted. Can honestly say it's been a godsend stopping minor things developing into something worse. Pretty useful stuff to have if you have pets, but definitely doesn't stop a visit to the vet if that's what's needed, & always dilute according to the instructions, Sorry Pixi not directed at you but anyone who's never used it before, had a horsey friend who did that, but different story

Karma I don't know what to do! I'm scared she's going to rip them out as she's not been walked now for 2 weeks we're really struggling to keep her calm and quite and not racing about the house and garden! Last night we had hardly any sleep coz she was licking at her paw/bandage constantly really loud and kept having to tell her to stop! God knows what we'll do with her after its been stitched cos she has to put her weight on that paw due to the bad hip on the other side!
