Remember, when new to this you don't even realise that you need to keep the button pressed in to vape It is a steep learning curve! I remember trying to drip for the first time with the black plastic mouthpiece still in, I couldn't work out how the hell I was supposed to get a drip tip to fit And that was only a little while ago

Unbelievable, whats so hard about a simple twist, or how to fasten on a atty, in tact you have more going on with the riva with the bit and bobs. Not everyone comes into vaping ready for that stuff (I'd say no one), in fact with all the lovely new people we've had join recently I can't think of one that said the Riva kit is a bit basic and overpriced, please could they have a more advanced set up. People want a warm friendly community that gives them simple sound advice on a simple kit ready to go with a click of a button. Go on find one that thinks your idea of VV vaping for beginners is a good idea. It's ok, I'll wait...

Mybad. The fact that you find other's comments unbelievable suggests that you've forgotten what it was like to be a newbie or you're blessed with a higher technical understanding than the average newcomer Not at all oneday.

When I joined this forum I read all the posts recommending the Riva 1100. I took the advice and ordered. All that I can say is this is the best advice I could have been given. I wanted something ready to go and I got what I wanted. In the future I may or may not have a better one but for now I am happy with what I have. In fact I love it so much I ordered 2 more kits, a spare for me and one for my mum. I would not hesitate to recommend this kit to anyone starting out. And as for Jason at Vape Escape he has been brilliant and a huge help and this is what beginners need when starting out.

I thought that myself, but after reading these posts i think i will keep it too myself No way mate, that would have been great when i first started. To have a choice of kits at different prices recommended by an experienced vaper, perfect and you have the twist in there too. Could you add this kit www.vapeland.co.uk/ego-t-ce5-black-starter-kit-900mah-97-p.asp as a budget option? Budget for me was the biggest factor when i started. It is not always in stock but have read this on there site so could be included "Latest News: 18th Feb 2013: Well, the demand for our amazing prices is increasing by the tenfold, and we have had to limit stock on a daily basis. But do not panic, we are currently doing job interviews in our local area, so we can increase our workforce and cover the demand, beginning of March is when we expect stock to be replenished and all you eager vapers can get ordering as much as you like "

I think some of the replies here are an insult some newbies, by just saying it could be hard for them to understand how to do a few click's or a simple twist and understand its actions, of which you would have to do on the riva anyway.

I'm now looking at an upgrade, maybe a twist for the Riva. What would you recommend mybad at a reasonable price.? Could you please provide links with the details if possible.
Not interested in a Vamo or anything larger than the Riva though as it is more than adequate for my needs. It's the vv/vw bit that sounds tempting..
Not trying to catch you out, I am genuinely interested.

If someone had said to me about all different bits and pieces I had to order at once to start vaping and also the thoughts of a VV battery and different clearos etc for the VV I would of run very fast and thought theres no way I can do it. A simple kit with everything you need including having 2 batteries(first charge was a nightmare as I had turned the battery off and couldnt understand why the LED stayed green )will get a newbie started and then they can make up their own mind. Some people cannot understand anything to do with batteries, volts, ohms and so anything more than a simple kit is too much for them and they are happy with something very simple, others will go on and it turns into mods and mixing and doing as much as they can. We cant know who will do what at the beginning but we can give them an easy way to start vaping and from there it is their own decision.
