I read today that doctors may be allowed to prescribe e cigs. www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/doctors-allowed-prescribe-electronic-cigarettes-1739542Ive also been reading the EUs proposals on e cig laws, Please scroll down to page 9 Nicotine containing products (NCP) within the link. ec.europa.eu/health/tobacco/docs/com_2012_788_en.pdfThis in conjunction with the new generation of intelligent battery devices is to much of a coincidence. Its only a matter of time before the NHS are prescribing there own pre-filled tamper-proof clearomisers, that need logging in on the internet to set the puff counter for the daily dose. I think there is a need to drop the mg down to the 2 mg talked of in the EU proposals, Im glad Im off the leaf but feel if I dont take steps to reduce now I will have just swapped one prison for another.

Agree entirely with this. 2mg nic would be a complete waste of time!

I can vape as low as 0.8mg I vape 5mls if I mix that low. I think they will be heading to control the milligrams through taxation as there proposals dont mention anything about quantities as far as I have seen. I cant see them meaning 0.2 they need things to tax, Im not aiming to shock anybody and I am anti establishment at heart, its just these people vote the way the bankers tell them, its all a pantomime. I would hate to see people forced to go through there GP through lack of awareness of what they have planed. It might not turn out that way but I see camron promising a referendum in 2017 when in 2009 he was demanding that we have one. The Irish voted no so they had a re vote, these people dont take no for an answer. Stinkies are climbing in prise there is no way I could afford to go back that route but I can make adjustments to my mix.

Oxo, I started at 24mg and dropped it after a while, I then found I was chain vaping and went back to 24 and just use it less. If I was forced to a 2mg level I will be looking for the Rizzla's in no time. It's great that you want to reduce your intake but why do I need to live by your rules? At this point in time it is believed nicotine is on par with caffeine, do we need to ban the triple espresso? I hope you can find the time to read up as much as possible on this topic, I think your opinion may change. Take care, Ant

Take care, Ant I also started at 2.4mg 1ml or just under per day, dropped to 1.8mg and 1.5ml, then 1.1mg doing 5ml. Ive three batteries on the go, my set-up dont alow for more than 5mls a day, I just cant charge them any faster On a 0.8mg mix thats 4.0mg Your on 2.4mg dropping 0.4 is no big deal, and remember I dont have any authority and am not an EMP to set any rules, you do as you please. Im only posting out what Ive read and how I interpreter it, and the best coarse of action I can take so Im not left craving. Im not here to wind anyone up and make enemys, Even if they rush things through the time frame could be months if not years before they control the e juice supply. All the best oxo

Would you make your mind up. On one hand you say 2mg is not 0.2mg. You then say 24mg is 2.4mg.

I was really hoping there was a decimal in the wrong place, like 2 mg and 4mg for meds is a joke. I personally would like to see an outright ban rather than doctors prescribing 4mg juice and vapers left with nothing. They must want to create another black market as vaping is defiantly having an impact on my local backy baron.

I meant total ban including big farma. I dont want to see the local surgery pimping out juice that has next to zero nic, I would sooner go cold turkey without the juice that could be upto but not guaranteed to be 4mg. Total as in everybody.

Surely you do not need EU regulation to Vape 4ml juice? you can CHOOSE to do that yourself? In all my years of smoking as much as I ended up hating my habit I never once thought 'I hope they ban this stuff so I can quit'. I mean that would have just been selfish. Just to add, you haven't ever opened the fridge and accidentally drank any e-juice thinking it was food have you?
