Has anyone else had mouth ulcers when they started vaping?
I currently have 5, including 1 on the tip of my tongue!
Vaping is the only thing that is different recently so I can't think what else it may be.
There's no way I'm giving up the vaping! I have some bonjela - is there anything else I can do/use?

I had one after a couple of weeks which gave me some grief. Think I escaped quite lightly if you have five. Of course I coped with it like a trooper!!

Mouth ulcers are very common with people when stopping smoking, so may be more down to not smoking than vaping.

Yes I suffered with loads, it's the stopping smoking rather than vaping. They should pass but painful while they are there

A dry mouth can also cause mouth ulcers! Vaping can be dehydrating, so up your water intake!

i had with some fruity i tried,i found salt water mouth rinse 3 times that day soon relieved them 24hrs later Funnily enough in week 3 I have been vaping more fruity flavours - I've gone off my RY4 a bit and have been mixing it with fruit ejuices. I will give the salt water rinse a try. Thanks everyone. It's good to hear I'm not alone as when I searched mouth ulcers in previous threads very few came up and those that did were ages ago - thought I was a bit of an oddity and was worried that I would have mouth ulcers all the time I vaped! Hopefully I'll get rid of this batch and suffer no more

I suffer from ulcers after quitting.. I think its to do with your body having to deal with the bacteria in your mouth now, one thing the cigs seemed to kill off.. They will pass...I have them now, 3 days I have had them but they are starting to go...

Only ever had one, I put a dissolvable aspirin tablet directly onto it which was between my gum and cheek , and by the time the aspirin had dissolved the ulcer had more or less gone, like magic.

Yep, happened to me too - they will pass, and I've had no reappearances since. Sipping water whilst you vape is a good idea, as the PG and VG bases are humectants, attracting water and therefore drying out your mucous membranes in the mouth, causing dryness and chapped lips sometimes too. There are all sorts of changes that you will notice as a result of giving up smoking tobacco - and they are all surprisingly pleasant. The reappearance of taste and smell, whiter teeth, better breath, a smoother and more elastic skin, and this is not counting the improvement to your breathing and lack of cough (after you've expectorated all that crud lying in your lungs!).
