Another e cig study

Hi,
I wouldn't worry about solder or any green stains. If you've ever done any plumbing work, especially on older buildings, you would know that solder and verdigras (spelling) is part and parcel of just about every drinking water system in the world. I know that we don't normally heat the water so that it vapourises but we do boil it for tea, coffee etc. with no ill effects.
Vaping is safer than smoking and no matter what these dubious studies come out with I for one will fight my corner.

Me to, i did have a few weeks using carto's and have some unused in my vaping box but thankfully i'm well and truly hooked on the Kayfun now, still love gennies though and thats another can of worms, i would love to see a trustworthy study on all vape related delivery systems so when people ask i could say with complete confidence what i'm doing is safe.

I stopped using carto's a long time ago after watching I think it was geekgirlvaper on YouTube,
she said she had concerns about using them because she wasn't sure about what she was inhaling,
Especially about small bits of fibre going into her lungs,

I was advised many years ago not to use, EC aerosol's because they can bring on asthma attacks
and to avoid them like the plague.

The latest update on this study compared what was found with the same in NRT. Sorry, can't remember if I found that on UKV, POTV or one of the blogs, but amount of each was compared with NRT contaminants.
The NRT devices contain more of many of the contaminants although all had less that the amount permitted by law.
The study was funded by Pharma if I remember correctly.
The people who give in their instructions for using Quickmist spray to prime it by spraying around the room!

There is genuine research, research taken out of context to make something look better or worse, fake science and slanted science. Unfortunately those who want to get rid of vaping don't come into the 'genuine, complete, repeatable, peer-reviewed and unbiased' class.

I loathe cartos but that;s just personal taste. Fact is the majority who know nothing about forums or bans do use cartos and 90maH batteries, they want to have something like a cigarette.

With a science degree background I never believe everything I read and I always try to find the funding first.

Got to say,I have pulled apart Boges before and just did another,all mine are used in tanks are well used,one even lasted a month,none have ever had any green and have always looked as good as when they came out of the factory,where as I always am wary about something that may contain metals that could cause carcinogens and particles coming from wading materials,I see nothing to worry about right now
