Unfortunately the Euro is a corollary of mindless ideology but it still exists, held up by strings pulled by unelected burocrats. The EU like all forms of soft social dictatorship wants to control everything - just for the sake of it and regardless of the costs. I doubt if any UK Govt would independently legislate against a possible prevention for Lung Cancer, having supported Nicotine patches etc etc. Brussels however rules us and we must obey - at the moment... The "Euro" is the common currency - oh dear, this is the kind of mindless attack using nonsense rhetoric that we are trying to combat to save vaping. It really wont help our cause to allow it to spread into other issues like this.

Don't get me wrong, I would have voted UKIP in the election, but here is a Conservative strong hold, so didnt bother voting. That's why everyone should vote! If everyone voted who felt the same as you Matt then the Conservatives wouldn't have such a stronghold in your area!

Much as we all love to hate the EU, I think it unlikely we'll vote to come out, and certainly a mistake to rely on that happening. A lot of the investment in the UK, and hence a lot of jobs, depend on our being in the EU. When the details of that come out in the campaign I think most will vote to stay in.
I think it would also be a mistake to ignore the EU and rely on getting the stuff from elsewhere. There is no guarantee that the US and China won't ban it one day, and if we don't fight on our patch, how can we expect people elsewhere to do so?
And I think it would be wrong of us to just stock up for years and forget about the legislation and everyone else. There are lives to save here.

The legislation will only stop people from buying it. So if we use self preservation tactics, I don't see the harm IMO. Unless there are suddenly studys (funded from non-pharma/tobacco companies) that say these are deadly, I will be stocking up and vaping and slowly lower my nic concentration to 4mg/ml

OK so resourceful current users really aren't at that much risk of a ban, it would be impossible to stop the converted from finding ways round and through the loop holes. The issue is it WILL result in so much pain, suffering and ultimately premature deaths of those that they are attempting to hide this from. Discovering vaping should be the dawn of a new era in public health, not a dirty secret hidden away (and priced out of existence) in Chemist shops.
Those that misguidedly want to prevent the public from learning about this are on a par with a guy called Thomas Midgley, who inadvertently did more to damage the planet and those breathing upon it than anyone who ever lived. He was the bright spark who decided to put lead in petrol, then for an encore he managed to mess up the ozone layer with CFCs for refrigeration.
