WooHoo Well done ragjoy Remember you are unlikely to receive any product you order from China untill the end of the month , may even be mid March depending on how many back orders they have to deal with. thanks keef, do you pay tax on the batteries from china or america? and how do you know they fit the mk2 if there supposed to have been made specifically for the sd mk2 ?. ragjoy...........

Well done from me as well Raggie No you won't have to pay tax on the batteries - unless you order lots of them. Got to admit Foxy, that I'm unsure about those batteries you linked to as they don't look protected to me?

The battery TW sell is protected and designed by Trog specially for the MK11 .
The Orange Batteries in the link are unprotected , they do however fit the SD MK 11 and work in it .
When buying from China or anywhere outside Europe you have a £18 allowance on goods before you pay duty and Vat.
So unless you are buying as Chrissie says a large quantity there will be no charge .

Chrissie I gave Foxy the link to the UltraFire batteries.
Trog used them last year when testing the prototypes of the MK11 and he says they work fine and he has purchased from that website with no problems.

Doh, sorry Keef, I knew I'd seen that link somewhere before Plus of course as Foxy wouldn't be putting them in tandem, there are really no worries about them being unprotected. Slopes off to get another coffee

I am nervous about using unprotected batteries but I read the thread about these particular ones on Trog's forum and no one mentioned explosions - I'll take the chance - so cheap! I hope they fit my TW charger. I suppose that'll be my next back-up purchase. Thanks for the tax info - I feel a lot of mini-orders coming on in the future! Fox

Foxy. The thread was from Nov and I am pretty sure if they were selling duff ones there would have been lots of Neg posts about them by now. I also noticed BatteryJunction in the US sell these and I doubt they would if there was a history of explosions.
Scylla Dont you go worrying about exploiting anyone. They need the money, even child labour which is wrong yes but if they dont work who feeds the family . You wont help them by starving them.

Changing the subject slightly, I've solved the problem of my non-wicking RN type 901 atties on the SD - I replaced the whistle style mouthpiece with a 510 cart and Voila! All is now fine and I'm shrouded in clouds of lurvely vapour! Fox

Good fer you I wish I could report some good vaping news myself, given my recent, desperate expenditure on 2 Creator batteries to enable use of the Cartomizers that won't work with that dang adapter... but it looks as though it's the Cartos themselves that are too airy. I could cry - my first experience of Creator+Cartomizer, many months ago, was the best vape I'd ever had, but it looks as though it was a fluke. Yet it can't have been, cartos have become quite cult these days. *!+@^%$* scylla

So pleased to hear you have solved the problem with your RN atties Foxy (((Scylla))) I've still not tried cartos so not really taken ion too much info about them. But I'm fairly certain there are 2 types/makes & some work better than others.

Another hug for you ((((Scylla))). Been trying to do some research on the Cartos. Others are also saying they Cartos draw is too airy : www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/kr808d-1/67776-kr8-draw.htmlAnd re the 2 makes of cartos, I found the following : "if the cartomizer is a "KR" then it is Kanger if the cartomizer is a D-2 aka E-9 then it's from e-cig.com aka Cixi E-cig" Not sure if that means they have the letters on the cartomisers though.
