I can see why James dont have ecigs on site anymore shame really as one bad mod could ruin a company. Very true, Roachie! Sellers need spare capital to survive. What would be the point of replacing these BWs with gear from the same source? scylla

Got to admit that it's beyond my why a 18650 mod can't run an LR attie.
I would love to know if e-cig wizard have heard of similar problems from their customers who have bought the BW510N. If they have, then Bauway should recall the lot of them.
River, I so wish I had a spare mod to send you.

Chrissie,no worries hun.i just might purchase me another ego-t it was the second bit of kit that i bought and to be honest i cant fault it. it has never let me down and i now only use dual coils and they work perfect for me. the only reason i bought the BW was that i wanted something a bit special to vape at home/caravan and pub.
roachie cheers buddy but i am ok for now mate

If a vendor chooses to stock a selection of products, then they have to deal with the faults that occur.Anyone can buy cheap in bulk but its times like these when a vendor needs to help out customers.Camper may have not made these mods but he did decide they were good enough to stock, sadly that isnt the case.An 18650 mod that shorts when having an LR atty used is not fit for purpose and is most definately faulty. As i have said i wont blow my top yet but Camper needs to address this immediately and in an adult manner like any other vendor.

Got to admit that it's beyond my why a 18650 mod can't run an LR attie. Without having one here to test/dismantle, my guerss would be that the battery can handle it fine... but the switch can't. It sounds like the switch is under-rated and can't handle the Amps that a LR atty draws. This will cause the switch to eventually fail, sometimes in the off positive, sometimes in the on position. Anyone who has searched for switches to use in mods will agree with me that it's easy to find small switches - there's millions of them around and they're very cheap! However, it's another thing trying to find small switches with a 3 Amp rating at all, let alone at a decent price! Sean

River mine is the old style with the plastic button.
Apparently they have an "overload protection" so they won't run LR.

Sorry to hear of your woes river, I have every confidence camper will sort it out when he returns. Sounds to me like it has a direct short. I don't own the510N but do have the Exo. It has never given me a moments bother but I have always had an Imr battery in it. Standard trustfires won't fit in.

Ah thanks Sean, I did wonder if it could have been to do with the switch. Sounds like the same thing has happened with my MM switch.

One question. Who makes these mods? Are they a big factory of a single person?

I get lost with the term mod? If it's produced in a factory why is it a mod? See lost, lol
To me a mod is something home made.

The way i see it James and sorry if im wrong here now but what i would class as a mod is something what can take any state of battery or something where you can use your own batterys.
I think thats what most people class as a mod.
