Hey All 

48 hrs into committed vaping with my new Riva ....

only one mishap so far ... Filled clearo ... Went to swap it from one batt to the other... Unscrewed the wrong section and dumped the whole lot down my leg ..!

couple of questions tho..

Is it just me but I'm really struggling to tell the difference between the flavours of juice ... I have some vanilla, caramel and B&H juices from vape escape and they all taste very similar to the point where I can only tell what's what by the colour..... Maybe my taste buds are still shot to sh*t from too many fags over the years

also

Im a bit ham fisted and tend to get a bit of juice on my fingers when filling ... Bottle says very toxic on skin ... Do I need to wear gloves and a mask ?!!....or will washing it off do ... How dangerous is this stuff really ?

Your taste buds could be playing up! Perhaps your one of those people who would be better with extra flavour? A few vendors offer this, or you could have a read of the Mixology section and think about mixing your own

You don't need a mask and gloves, just wash of any juice spillages. Do keep the juice well away from children and pets though as their tolerance will be a lot lower than ours so it could be highly dangerous for them

You'll probably find that your taste buds will take a little time to recover from the effects of smoking Spikus, how long will depend on how long you smoked and how many.

But it does get better.

It`s your taste buds, I often get days like that, very bloody annoying lolol. But next day or the day after, they are as right as rain again


I tend to be a bit messy as well, I often spill liquids on myself, nothing to worry about, soap and water is all that is needed. The danger thing for e liquid can be a little over stated.

when i lose my taste, i vape spearmint. it seems to cleanse the palate.
in my smoking days, i didnt like menthol but spearmint is lovely

Yep, mints and menthol for days my taste buds are on holiday!

I spill juice, flavourings and nic base on my hands all the time, and I'm still alive

Hiya, I'm new to this lark too. I have got it on my hands a few times, overfilled my nova the first time, and like you couldn't taste any difference. Eight days into it and today (this morning) was the first day I could taste that is was menthol, so like the experts are saying, must just be our tzstebuds had all but died.

Now that I can taste again my next batch of juice might even include flavour other than B&H or Menthol, although I am tempted to stick as I am for a while as it's working, for the first time in my getting of cigs life So don't want to mess with the winning formula.

I can tell the difference between flavours but . . . if I haven't read the label I can never tell what the flavour is! If I have read it - all the best juices taste just like it says on the tin
