Thanks for that. Here is a guide of how to dry burn: p.s I wouldn't take the top silver bit off (the bit under the rubber cap) when cleaning as there is loose wick in there and as you don't know how to re-coil it could get messy.

Oh Romelee, it's me, I will be doing a Siffy, and it would and will, so will leave the pin for now, have had enough with the flipping battery pin saga. Thank you;)

When I am less wet behind the ears I can find my thread and watch your video and do it. Thanks again.

Romelee, could I just check two things with you please? So just to recap, new ones soak in warm water for two hours, let dry, then dry burn. If I'm not removing the pin how long do I dry burn for, because I can't see if it gets red and words in the famous words of Miss Houston, How Will I Know? Thank you.

If they're new siffy just give them a quick soak and let them dry out completely and they'll be fine

Don't really need to see down the tube punisher just do 3-4 second pulses about 5-6 times like the video @4mins 40secs....there's is not much to see anyway

For once I must disagree with you Rom. I think to do an efficient and effective dry burn you need to be able to see the coil. Otherwise you are just guessing.

Any used ones I am cleaning get bunged in the ultrasonic cleaner along with the rinsed out atty for a couple of cycles, left somewhere warm to dry off then treated the same as above. Maybe not text book but works for me

I can see why Romelee advised me not to remove the pin. I did however give it a go, failure I removed all the loose. Wick , checked it wasn't black underneath, it wasn't, then tried to pop the strand back on. Nightmare I was all fingers and thumbs. Popped back on as best I could then tried to pop the pin back on. It wouldn't? Tried on and off for a good 15 mins too. Gave up in the end tbh as I am having a rocky start to all this and had had enough tbh. Just chucked it in the bin in the end. I get the feeling I won't be someone who can master re-coiling for a while, or if at all. Although I do seem to be having one thing after another go wrong , albiet self inflicted cock ups I am not going to give up on vaping. I know with your guys help patience and kindness I will get there in the end. I really am grateful, honestly, and to be totally honezt without you lot I would likely have just thought sod this for a game of soilders, and nipped to the shop for a packet of cigs, so thank you.
