It's either my taste buds or something. I can be vaping away and all of a sudden there's no taste. I change to something else and it tastes same as other is this normal or am I not normal

It's very normal for your taste buds to play up in the first few months of vaping bazzer343 just keep a few different juices on the go!

I think taste buds can take several months to normalize after smoking. I had given up cigs for a year before I started vaping and have now been vaping for almost 1 year but some days my buds decide to take a day off. Try some decent menthol when you buds are sleeping, that will often sort them.

Sometimes changing which side of the mouth you are using helps.

Same happens to me. I deffo recomend menthol for giving taste buds a boost.

It`s one thing I wish hadn`t come back - I hate so many more things now (food wise) that I could tolerate before - it`s not always a positive thing

Same here, I'm a real fussy eater & dont like most things, now even my favourites taste 'orrible since quitting smoking!

As for losing taste vaping, try some menthol to give your buds a clearout

Sorry to tell you this, but nearly a year in my taste buds still play up sometimes.

+1 for switching juice, +1 for menthol/mint

Try lifting your tongue as you vape so you taste with the tip of it, not the top. Or twist to the side if you like a bitter taste.

Our taste buds have ALWAYS played up - sometimes i just couldn't enjoy sweets as a kid - when smoking my very (and very occasional) fags - Sullivan and Powell - just didn't taste right - same for booze, coffee whatever.

Our senses are good - and they will improve the longer off tobacco - but they'll always have off days
