OMG worst nightmare, it's why mine only have access to a secure garden . . . . well secure for the 3 boys but not for Houdini's apprentice who climbs the cat netting like spider cat then does a commando role over the top

Have you asked your neighbours to check sheds & such like, could be with the intermittent weather she's got herself stuck somewhere trying to shelter, really hope she comes home or you find her soon.

Thanks madcat. I will get Mr Dolly to go along the street asking tomorrow on his day off. As my electric wheelchair is broke I can't get about too easy at the moment.

Blownupdolly sorry about your cat, I'm sure it'll turn up soon enough. We lost ours last year for four days. I was sure I could hear him meow but no one else could. The little blighter had climbed onto the roof and was in my neighbours attic. He didn't hear him as he's stone deaf, the cat was fine after some food and water. I'm sure yours will appear shortly .

Really hope she returns soon Dolly. We had a cat abscond last year only to turn up in the middle of the night two weeks later, she carried on her normal routine as though nothing had happened.

Dolly print off some flyers asking neighbours to check their sheds/garages etc for her & get hubby to put them through everyone's doors.

I once had a cat turn up safe and sound after 3 months. I'd totally given up hope and got another kitten!

I had another cat leave home and move in with an old lady and refuse to come back!

But, Chrissie is right, get some fliers out. At this time of the year she may have got herself into a shed or something and the householders gone off on holiday! Most people though have folks come round and check their houses every few days.

Blownupdolly,just reading your post, I`m sure as others have said, that you will be re-united with your cat.

They sometimes do wander off for a few days, but nearly always return.

Get `Bill` to call on the neighbours, she may be `lording it` with a child of a neighbour.

Dolly, a couple of years ago a neighbours cat went missing. 5 days later I started looking after Phoebe, another neighbours cat as they were off on holiday. On the first evening, there was no sign of their cat so I went to the top of their garden to call her in & heard a very pathetic meow coming from their shed. Opened the door of the shed expecting to see Phoebe, but it was the other neighbours little ginger & white cat. I just scooped him up & took him straight round to them.

Oh & when I got back Phoebe was waiting to be fed

Also, phone all your local vets and cat shelters - a friend and I rescued a cat the other week (he'd been around Dad's flats for a couple of months, we think his owner died) and the vet we took him to (to scan in case he was chipped) kept a list of 'found' cats in case anyone had lost theirs. Harvey - as he is now known - wasn't on any list, and is now happily living with my mate, so that ended well Worth checking.

Thank you still no sign of her. Bill has just gone up and down the road calling, but no joy. Will start the missing cat campaign in the morning.
