Been quite worried and upset since returning from Vapefest. I have 3 cats. Mum cat and 2 of her kittens. They are 2yrs old now. My son in law came round to feed them each day whilst we were away. The female kitten called Poppet has disappeared. My SIL says he saw her on the Friday night and gave her a stroke and cuddle, but no one has seen her since. It is soooo unlike her as she is the most affectionate of all the cats. I just hope and pray she is holidaying with someone else, although I am starting to fear the worst.

Hey Dolly, I feel you pain I had one of my cats disappear on me a month ago. Turned out she got out of the house and fled into the cellar of the neighbors house through an open window. I don't know if your cat is an inside or outside the house cat but if she's accustomed to stay inside your best bet is that she fled to somewhere safe and is nearby. What you could do it go outside at night when it's dark and quiet with her favorite food or toy and gently call her name and shake the food in the bowl and hope she turns up. We found out our cat was in that cellar by calling her at night when all was quiet and were able to pinpoint where the mijauws were coming from. Also make some flyers and put them up or make small leaflets and put them in all the postboxes in your street asking if anyone might have seen or noticed her. Hope you find her quickly

Awwwww, hope she soon returns dolly x x x Thanks Karen She is my favourite too. She was the runt of the litter and I would often stick her down my top to keep her warm and secure as she got bullied by the others a bit. I really will miss her if she doesn't come back. Even her very annoying habit of tapping my nose at three in the morning to wake me up for a cuddle.

Hi testdruif She is very much an outside cat. My husband has been wandering about at night calling her. We have a family of foxes who live at the back of our garden. I don't think they would have attacked her as, believe it or not, they regularly play with my cats! I have seen my mother cat play slapping one of them on my patio before.

You must be worried sick. Post a photo of her on your Facebook page if you have one and also on any Facebook animal related pages local to you. Ask people to share it. I really hope she turns up.

We lost our cat some years back and like you had foxes out the back garden (was worried they had attacked him) but on reading up it seems its very rare for foxes to attack cats(they just dont want the hassle) and as you say if they ve been playing together i think that would make it even more doubtful. Im with you and others on a phone round (dont forget vets and pet shops as often thats where people put up a found message). Hope she gets back home soon

So sorry to hear that, hope you find her soon. We got a kitten in the spring and now only see our queen when she nips In for food. Last time with a new kitten she only truly returned home when the colder nights started. So hoping we haven't upset her too much this time round and she will Forgive us and come to terms with the new ginger, as she did last time.

Keeping everything crossed for you (and her) that she turns up soon. One of my previous cats vanished for 3 weeks once, and my aunt's old cat was away a whole 6 months before wandering in as though nothing had happened. One of our current cats (Muddles) has taken to spending a few days away every month, I have no idea where she goes, but every time she's missing, I fear the worst. Really hope Poppet comes home soon.

This is what I am praying for Jo. That she has wandered off maybe that I left her and will come home soon.
